Looking Ahead

greetings averagedawg. . . . have started a couple of times to ask how you, family and friends are doing. Feel sure there is still much to be done. Looks as if the BP mess is fixing to ruin everything on the Florida West Coast. Winds have changed from West to East, not good.

Like this football team (players and coaches) averagedawg. Could be one of those years when a team has the breaks fall their way and most Journalists are dumbfounded. Looking forward to this fall and this group. Been a while since I have felt like this. Best wishes to you.

Hey yall, I like the coaching changes we have made without a doubt. My worries are that with the the changes we have had to make is that it will take us a few games to get use to the new system. I do not doubt the effort our young men will give. I believe with the leadership they will have now that they will give there all but I just hope an pray we get some breaks early in the season to help us get by, because I truly believe once this group of coaches and players start to Gel that the sky is the limit and whom ever we face will have Hell to pay!! pardon my french. But the Dawgs are Due for the ball to bounce our way!!! GO DAWGSSSS!!!

Hope you don't get too much oil stuff - I'm afraid of what could happen - Looks like no one has the answer on how to fix this mess other than drill new wells - I guess I'm to the point that BP should be banned from operating anywhere near the US - this is not their first fiasco - they seem content to forgo safety to save a little money - like they aren't making gazillions

I do hope they make BP & company pay for everything - clean up - income lost for businesses - etc - of course will will end up paying for it at the pump

Sure hope that I was not misleading in my post about the oil disaster. I live on the East Coast of Florida. That however does not mean anything once the currents that run up the East Coast pick up the oil.

The way this administration has handled this disaster quite frankly reminds me of a certain coach that was dismissed at the end of last football season. Totally out of touch and not a remote idea of how to correct the problem.

UGA handled its problem, dismissal. . . . . makes one wonder about certain Federal Employees. Guess the answer to that is bring a Beetle to the White House and have a damn party.

OSD, think that the young players (and coaches) will get into CTG's 3/4 much quicker than some think possible. Many reports that I have read say that Coach Grantham is first off, a great teacher and is understood in short order. Teach first, coach second. A player can be 6'4\" and weigh 235, have the attitude of a bull, but if he does not have direction, headed for the slaughter house.

Sorry for sounding off, can't stand incompetence, especially at the level it is showing its ugly face these days. Love beating LSU, don't like seeing the good folks of Louisiana being treated like second class citizens. White House having a party at this time? Wipe those smiles off and do your job, or get rid of the suit and tie, get in the dirt with the good, hardworking folks on the Gulf and do something, not partying. Sad.

wlayton, you and I touched on this thing a couple of weeks back. Remember a statement made about BP and what they would do when the cards were placed on the table. Will take credit for that, was totally right about that band of thieves.
