Yes Buc I know the overall record. But would 2 decades be \"long run\" enough, and don't expect that trend to change in the near future either.
Buc, I am not trying to be arguementative, just good conversation. Consider this, if Peyton Manning gets hurt 5 plays into the super bowl, do you think that becomes a factor in the game. Do you think it has a effect on the entire team(offense and defense) when the leader of the team is unable to play.
Flyin Dawg, second place is the first loser doesnt really applly here. The goal for every SEC team is to get to Atl, to say that UF and UGA were in the same boat at the end of the year is laughable.
GATORstrong, truthfully I don't look at your posts or most of the posts and threads that I read here as being argumentative. It is more of an opinion being expressed by those that participate that I appreciate. I have been involved with some boards that THRIVE on dumb ass nonsense. Said a couple of times in different threads, I am here because you can get good, honest football and sports talk. Captain of the ship will not put up with a lot of BS. I think that is one reason that you post here, don't stop.
You are definitely a Gator and there is nothing I can do about that, next time I am in the pew I will say a prayer for you . . . .
I think where I have a problem with some of the posts that I read from UF folks that center around a person, rather than a team. TT does not walk on water. Peyton Manning without an offensive line is nothing.
Been around too long, served in the military,(we definitely were a team) played football in high school, it is all about team. Read these words carefully . . . . Saban is all about TEAM. Signed the top wide receiver in the country, did you watch him in the MNC game . . . dude is blocking like a madman. Think about Saban opening up the offense and throwing the ball to Jones.
Saban actually did not shut the offense down, he played a game that most coaches do not understand. That would be using the clock as a 12th man, not throwing \"shovel passes\" with 15 seconds or so left on the clock in the first half. Would McCoy have made the same move in the same situation? Ball got to the intended player, not caught, not QB's fault, ball was there. Truthfully, CMB's fault. Piss poor coaching from someone that is making millions of dollars each and every year.
As for your answer to flyindawg about \"first loser\", don't laugh too hard, might come back and bite you on the bottom.
