wlayton, know a little bit about the coaching style of Sanders and Bates. They both think along the lines of Saban. In the middle there has to be a big dude occupying two offensive players.

I will say this . . . . if Sanders had been our DC this year, with the studs that we had in the middle (ask GT) this team would have resembled Bama, but WE HAD MORE STRENGTH WITH OUR FRONT THREE THAN BAMA HAD.

With our depth at linebacker, and if, IF Sanders comes, don't be surprised to see a three man front and linebackers/db's coming from all angles. Yep, give me Coach Sanders. He will turn the defensive side of the ball around PRONTO. Saban type PRONTO.

Again Buc, the more I think about it, I'm liking the idea of a NFL experienced defensive hire.

Talked to my guy today to see if he had heard anything.......he said it will probably come after the bowls now. Richt said today he’d like to have it done by the end of the first week in January, say after the BCS National Championship??? That would make sense if it’s Kirby. Richt also said that he has not offered the position to anybody as of yet.

Guess we'll all just have to wait longer.

Man, I want Kirby! I'm so excited to find out, I guess it'll be a late Christmas present.

By the sound of that, I'm thinking that its gonna be a someone from a \"BIG\" name program....maybe someone from Alabama, maybe? If it wasn't, then why wait to name him? Also think that it's not someone from the NFL with that info. Thanks wlayton. Keep the updates coming as you get them! I have a real good feeling about this info!!
