Heard that Koenning of KSU may be taking the DC job at Illinios. If he's going there then we already have somebody. If Foster said no then who's left?......Ellis Johnson? Bob Sanders? KIRBY SMART?

wlayton, think it will probably be Bob Sanders. He will enjoy the sunny South and put the UGA defense back in its rightful place. Think that our team will benefit from a pro coach.

I like the NFL idea too, Buc. My guy also thinks that BVG may still be in the running.
The NFL idea interests me the more I think about it.

I am very, very excited about tomorrow! If we have already gotten our man, and what you say is true, we will find out who our man is! I'm highly hoping it's KS or BVG. I haven't heard much about Bob Sanders, besides that he is the D-Line coach for the BIlls?

TDD....a smal tidbit on Sanders.
Bob Sanders is the defensive line coach for the Buffalo Bills. He joined them in 2009 after coaching for four years with the Green Bay Packers, four years with the Miami Dolphins, and after 11 years with the Florida Gators. He was let go by the Green Bay Packers as the defensive coordinator following a disappointing 2008 season.[1]
Sanders was hired on January 29, 2009 by the Buffalo Bills as defensive line coach.[2] Sanders worked under Steve Spurrier for 11 years at Florida. He also worked under veteran defensive coordinator Jim Bates for 5 years, from 2001-2004 at Miami coaching linebackers, and in 2005, as defensive ends coach in Green Bay.

Would we be the first Defensive Coordinator position that he has held? Or was he the DCordinator under Spurrier?
