wlayton, it is always easy to criticize, try not to in most situations. However, I am tired of WM being allowed to get away with obvious melt downs on his part and passing it off with excuses. He does not need to be protected by others on the staff . . . . most of us see when we view the game what is going on and some of the reasons behind it. Many on this board I would wager have played the game and believe it or not . . . . do understand how the game is played.
Football goes through changes in formations, both offensively and defensively. It is on the shoulder pads of the Defensive Coordinator/Offensive Coordinator to effectively game plan for these situations.
After watching the South Carolina game (again) I have to say that the parts of our defense that played the poorest were the DB's. WM is listed as the Defensive Coordinator/Defensive Backs coach. Go figure! We get the same melt down this year on the defense, feel that head(s) should roll. It is not so much that we lose, don't like it, but the WAY WE LOSE. We have had coaches in the recent past that loved the Dawgs but were not up to the standards set by those that came before them. Go Dawgs!
