IMO, i dont think that CWM would leave because CMR has stood behind him so much. Not to mention that UGA is a program that is currently having success unlike the canes who are still in the process of rebuilding and maintaining their program.
I think that that is the PRECISE reason Willie could leave. Richt has stood behind him so hard that this allows him to exit without CMR having to go back on his word. It also could potentially result in more money and better head coaching opportunities. After all, coaching against the ACC is
not coaching against the SEC, and CWM could come off looking great! Personally, my disdain for Willie aside, it's a great sideways move if there is such a thing, because Miami affords him so much more opportunity for growth and advancement. Plus it allows both he and CMR to save face and for the Bulldog nation to begin to move forward from the 2008 season, SPECIFICALLY that frickin' loss to Tech.
Succinctly said, this would be a good move for all parties involved.
