So........where are we next year?

I think Moreno stays another year, and I also believe cox will be the starter. Just because he knows the system better than anyone else, just the way that Joe Tereshinski did in 06. Cox is a proven player, he's won games for us when MS struggled. So we get a seasoned qb in cox, a returning OL green at wideout.. moreno samuel and king at rb.. all in all I think on offense we'll be ok.. BUT... with CWM calling the defensive shots... we're in trouble on that side of the ball. I don't think we get over the hump as long as WM is the DC.

Guaranteed Cox gets the starting job next year. I remember hearing how he almost beat Stafford out for it last year. Gray will run a special package next season and Murray will get a chance for the job in 2010. But he will have to compete against Mettenberger. We have a whole slew of talented QB's on our upcoming rosters. I agree that Cox or anybody will have better leadership skills than Stafford displayed this season. I look forward to an SEC title with our skill players getting much better, including our D. GO DAWGS!!!

I also believe Joe Cox will start. I think next year will be similar to this year in that we will have a strong offense, but our porous defense will cause us to lose 2-4 games again.

The SMART era CONTINUES!!!!!!

If Moreno and Stafford both leave we may be in a world of hurt next season. Mainly because I don't think our D will have the wheels to keep our offense in games.

I have heard about Murray and seen the high school highlights but, a freshman coming off a broken leg starting in the SEC would be pretty tough. I haven't seen Grey do anything other that field kicks and punts so I think my verdict is still out on him. Cox on the other hand, I think could do just fine. Everybody forgets he pulled our asses out of the fire against Colorado 2 seasons ago. Plus, he should have a pretty good grasp of the system.

I feel next season is going to be about the D and our running game. 8-4 maybe 9-3 next season. It really depends on how well Auburn and Tenn adjust to new coaches. I hate to admit that may even be optimistic given our problems on defense.

Expect UF and Bama to have excellent seasons again next year.

Go Dawgs!!!!

Seven wins. Moreno and Stafford leave, and next year is a rebuilding year. We need it. CWM won't be exposed until we have an off year, and no chance of him moving on.

Yeah this is about where I think we will be as well, maybe 8 wins if the offense gels or 10 if stafford and moreno stay which I think would be stupid of them since they are going to get a rookie salary cap soon.

I almost want the crap season so it will finally expose WM for the sad coach that he really is, hell he had all year to teach these guys not to hit late, jump offsides, shove their hands in a QBs face, and to actually wrap up when you try to make a tackle. If we go 7-5 or 6-6, it may make richt finally wake up or make the boosters put a lot of pressure on him to fire WM, its a shame that our defense has taken steps backwards instead of improving since he took over, its also the reason why you never hear his name being mentioned for head coaching vacancies, no one wants him.
