Does anyone know why WM is still here and not being fired?? This blows my mind. Richt needs to wake up.

Because georgia fans accept this mediocrity, 9-3 is a good year they will say!!!

9-3 is good for tech and vanderbilt but we should demand more, instead of being happy they should be down there asking what hes going to do to fix the situation.

And we need to quit talking about how you should root for an SEC team over other teams, I dont care if anyone wins except georgia and if you cheer for florida in the CG you are insane, if they win it hurts us. We need them to get killed.

Willie Martinez is a close personal friend of Mark Richt's, and Richt is a man of great loyalty and integrity, almost to a fault. In this situation, his biggest virtue is also his greatest vice. As long as the program averages about 9 or 10 wins a year, CMR will keep looking for other excuses and will not blame Willie Martinez. Sadly, I think Willie is here to stay as long as Richt has full autonomy over the program I don't see him firing him if he doesn't have to. It's going to be a matter of the Boosters stepping up and complaining and voting with their wallets.

Seems to me there is just too much contention here based off things we know little about and are relying mostly on opinion to make a case. We are not there for conversations between CMR and WM. For all we know Willie's seat may be pretty hot right now and he may be under some pressure to have the D play strong and dominant in the bowl game. CMR would never let thesetype of things get into the media or public eye. He handles all situations with respect, class and tact like a true professional should. We're not there in the huddles, calling plays to know if MS is a true leader or is going through reads and progressions properly.

Geez guys. Unclinch the cheeks a bit and start looking forward to a dominating bowl performance a 10 win season and momentum for next season. Fact is we have to do it with CWM, Bobo and hopefully without the distraction of Garner being eyeballed by Auburn.

Let's show these big 10 folks what it's like to play with the big boys in the South!

DawgnLA, I totally understand your post and I AM spoiled but geez, as much talent and as good of a program we have become (to me we are at the next level), I'm not pacifying myself by being happy with consistent 10 season wins. It's time for us to take it to the top.

Oh,...build momentum for next year?????? We did THAT last year.....we couldn't have built MORE momentum like we did from last year and see where it got us?
Sorry, I really had high hopes this year and I understand that we can lose a game etc but the WAY we lost those games and the WAY we squeeked by in some wins was very disappointing. It really is going to take a while to get this bad taste out of my mouth....very deflating.

Thought this subject was about next year. All I see are majority posts about mainly this past season with a little bit of next year mixed in. We can't live off of this past season, agreed that everybody in the UGA faithful had HUGE expectations, but things didn't fall our way. Great post Dapolla earlier in the subject by the way about next season. I gotta agree with DawginLA though overall but just feel were focused still on the past so much that were not even worried about the bowl game or incoming recruits. I understand that the past is where we come from and where everyone in today's world lives but come on, LETS ALL MOVE ON. I for one will be voting for all SEC teams in the bowl games, I don't care if UF is playing in the NC, they are a SEC team and last time I checked BOWL time was to show who is actually the strongest conference not just a win for our team. We can say all the time that we are but nobody listens, we all know it but everyone else won't accept it until we prove it. My half a cent im sure doesn't strike anyone or mean much but I just wanted to put it in.

Plain and simple for 2011...WIN
