Well.

All I can say is.

YES!!!!!!

Now let's go get a coach who can win the big one.

Let's bring Kirby home.

Buc where did that Mullen quote come from, Mullen's brother??

Probably a decent coach but imo is SO boring he makes plain vanilla ice cream look like rocky road with sprinkles on top.

This day and time you not only need a great coach, with discipline but a must as a great recruiter.

Give Kirby what he wants, he checks off ALL the boxes.

BulldogShannon wrote: The KS makes sense In a few regards. 1) Most recruits would stay committed because KS has a way of getting kids. 2) Knows Atlanta high schools as well as CMR did. 3) Would keep some continuity if he kept Pruitt. Why take a risk on a DC when he is already in Athens? 4) Can you see KS and Pruitt out recruiting? That combination would be as strong as Maddux/Smolts.

My only concern is this: everyone was sky high on Muschump when h took over at UF. Didn't work out. We just don't know if KS will look like Tarzan but play like Jane.

UGA is a good enough program to aim high for a premiere coach at a school already in a BCS conference. In case we don't go the KS route I think we could talk to these folks. ----Swinney, Dantonio, Patterson, Freeze, Shaw, etc. Not saying these would all be great hires at UGA, but I do think they have all done great things at schools that are lacking UGA's resources.

Anyway, if we go KS I will be behind the move 100%--I just want us to make a quality choice

Apples and oranges comparing Muschamp and Smart imo.

Muschamp can't get out of his own way with his temper and simply doesn't have the "it" factor. Kirby is cool under pressure which let's him think on his feet.

Like your other idea's but Dantonio is too old, Shaw's next move is the NFL and Freeze is under handed....IMO.

KS makes so much sense it probably won't happen.

IF KS doesn't work for us and turns out like Muschamp then we do just like Florida and move on.
How has that worked for Florida this year?? SEC East and playing for the SEC Championship.
There is NO guarantee with ANYONE we hire.
KS seems to be a great fit and surely wouldn't do any worse than 3 losses a year.

Mullen is the exact same as Richt IMO.

Sure he'll have better talent to work with than he does now, but he's done nothing to impress me at Mississippi state.

Shoot if we can't get Kirby, the next person on my list would be Gary Patterson.

I've been extremely impressed with what he's done at TCU.
