McGarity comes on board in 2010.

Georgia at that point was rated by most being in the top two or three college programs.

McGarity, closing out year 2014, Georgia is now ranked 8th.

Think maybe football being "messed" with is beginning to show the "real picture"?

More to come and your Public Relations folks don't present numbers/standings like the ones in the article below for "fans/supporters" to read. Can't hide from the truth, sir. More to butts in the seats support than is being shown. More to come.

Well here's the pay increase:

Total compensation for each is as follows ...

Rocker $500,000 (up from $300,000)
McClendon $350,000 (up from $235,000)
Schottenheimer $950,000
Sale $400,000

Defensive coordinator Jeremy Pruitt, as previously announced, is now at $1.3 million (up from $850,000)

Schottenheimer's total is substantially more than the $575,000 Mike Bobo made as offensive coordinator last season, while former offensive line coach Will Friend was listed at $300,000 before joining Bobo at Colorado State.

Other returning assistant coaches were not mentioned in Georgia's list, but here were last season's figures for each ...

Tony Ball $260,000
Mike Ekeler $250,000
John Lilly $235,000
Kevin Sherrer $200,000

As it stands now, Georgia's entire staff is now making roughly $4.45 million. That total would have ranked fourth nationally and third in the SEC last season, according to USA Today's assistant coach database (though salaries will change for all schools in the coming year).

Additionally, new strength coach Mark Hocke will make $200,000. Assistant Aaron Feld will make $60,000, while Kelin Johnson's salary as a full-time strength assistant is $40,000.

New director of player development Todd Hartley will have a salary of $150,000.

DSW, interesting that McClendon's new salary arrangement has not been posted. No doubt that Bryan already knows the bottom line. Did not take McGarity long to release Pruitt's 1.3 million number.

Just the thought of the "Dynamic Duo" remaining in Athens for several years makes it hard for old folks like me to entertain thoughts of playing on an equal basis with those that have proven themselves capable more than "once". Not sure we have a chance when the final four becomes the final eight with Richt/McGarity.

Say that for this reason . . . . I have witnessed the results of the two working together (supposedly) and now the only folks we are hearing anything from are the Public Relations folks. Check that, the big money donors are probably getting emails that are provided for the privileged. We know that was the case not too many weeks back.

Will add this. If Bryan McClendon's salary does not top McGarity's, some of "us" will have something to say. Bet that.

Whatever the bottom line for Richt is, I am more interested in the buy out.

The title of this thread brings a few things to mind.
2015 is underway, like it or not.Things being watched. Here is my perspective circa 1963 to 2015.

One eye is going to be kept on Richt by the alumni that HAVE to beat Tech every year. That is a very large group of well heeled donors. This year there will be no ribbing by the Tech folks. They will do that out of respect because the Ga fans didn't actually call the pooch kick. Tech guys will look away in the hall out of respect or say "Good game, you almost had us." Long year ahead for those alumni.

Again this year we have coaching changes and evolution of last year's new guy. The other eye will be kept on this bunch and see what their contribution will be. After all if next season doesn't meet expectations MR is gone. Those guys have to carry the team for the next year for the new HC,

Finally the fear of head coach CHANGES is still imprinted with the "Post Dooley - Pre Richt" era. Lots of HC stuff going on that indicated an unstable program. The HC position needs to be stable as do his assistants.

Yep long year ahead. Busy Off Season. Go Dawgs!

Added: One more thing. Pause and be thankful for the guys that are the team. They are what it is all about. The rest is PR.

For winning the Natty give every Dawg a bone AND prime rib steak.
