First, let me preface my comments by saying that I think Tebow's a great college football player. He means more to the Gators than anyone. Where would they be without him? Do I like him? Hell no, I'm an American, I have that option, but I agree he's a great player.
Having said that, Stafford will be much more successful as a pro athlete. I don't think there's another QB in college football with a better arm. I like the fact that he thinks he can make any play, now if he'll only grow up and realize he can't. I think he's maturing and will only get better. He's a smart kid, maybe a little cocky, but that's what you want your quarterback to be.
The second team QB's always the most popular guy on the team. Joe Cox is a great kid. It's a shame, he could start almost anywhere. However, Stafford's the man, I think for good reason.
I make my Tebow remarks without prejudice. I hate Tn. but always liked Tee Martin, a good guy.

LimeyDawg: Check your glasses friend. Herschel was 6.2 and weighed 235lbs, ran a 4.29 40. Moreno is about 5.9, weighs maybe 204 if that much. His 40 time does not come close to Herschel's. He is a great back in his own right and I think it's unfair to compare him to any other back. Herschel was a power back with great speed, Moreno has good power, but depends more on moves and shiftiness than running over people. Buck would call him a \"piney rooter\" meaning a little guy. I think he will be a great back if he stays healthy. Pounding it 20 to 25 times a game is going to take it's toll. Just hope his body will stand up to the pounding. Just some thoughts.

Hey GatorinGA, Don't you guys have a transfer RB from USC that sat out this year who is supposed to be the real deal for next year? That will help take some of the load off of Tebow. Also, I recently saw a statistic that showed UF played something like 18 Freshman this year, 2nd most in the nation (Helps when you have a landslide #1 recruiting class in 07').
Anyways, my 2 cents, I personally don't LIKE the way Tebow seems to pound his own chest alot. Maybe it's just my Gator-hatred coming out but he comes off rather arrogant & egotistical (some say the same about K-MO but I truly believe he's a team player). I will not sit here & tell you that Tebow is not a good QB though. He's definitely impressed this DAWG fan during the course of this season. I knew he ran like a horse, but man, that kid has a strong, very accurate arm & plenty of weapons to throw to.
That said, UF will be a MUCH better team next year (Especially on D). The Dawgs play UF the week after playing at LSU. UF has UK at home the week prior & has a bye the week before UK so they will come into the annual rivalry game very FRESH. I hate to say it Dawg fans, but the Gators will be hungry for revenge next year & the schedule sets up in their favor to get it. Nevertheless, I plan to be back in Jax. believing in my Red & Black!
