Great article. On paper it looks like Florida has a good chance, however, don't be surprised if Florida looses 3 out of the next 4.
I don't say that out of bitterness, it is very possible as the injury report is so vast that it actually made me laugh! Not only is Tebow MORE banged up after UGA, but the No. 2 and 3 QB's are as well so if Tebow can't play then the No. 4 QB steps in.
On defense, 5 of our aleady unexperienced starters are out the rest of the year and at some spots, so is the back-up. I can honestly say that this may be UF's worst season in 20 years. May go 6-6.

Oh, my guess is that lowly Tennessee advances to the SEC game.

GatorinGA, UT has (how can one most accurately prognosticate it?) what? They probably don't have the easiest road to travel with 3 remaining SEC games. But one could argue that they do have the easiest road since they control their own fate. Not that this means anything, but I think right now, there are at least 3 teams in the East that are better than UT. They are: (in order) UGA, SC, UF! KY may be better as well.

It is not a stretch to say that if UT loses only 1 of those 3 games, then UGA has the best chance, because we have only two games remaining. But that is very arguable as well becaue both of our games should be tough. SEC-E is still, definitely up for grabs in a general sense; we just cannot tell yet; too much football left to play. Too many dawgs left to cut loose on poor unsuspecting victims!

I can tell you why the Gators have had an off week almost every year before the Ga/Fla game. Steve Spurrier. As soon as he had some input as to the schedule, he began manipulating it so that UF had every bye week before the UGA game. This comes from the AJC sportswriters, not from speculation by myself. It was, as it turned out, a brilliant move for him to do that. UF had every week off before this game from 1993 to 2004. Is it a coincidence that the only times we won this game since 1993 was because we had a week off prior to the game and UF didn't? The only other time we won whenever we were playing prior to the UF game was in 1997. Be that as it may, I hope we enjoyed the off week this time before the UF game, because we sure don't get it next year...as a matter of fact, neither of us have an off week before we play next season, and WE have to play LSU the week before we play UF. Next year's schedule is gonna be a real slobber-knocker. We have our open dates before the UT game, and before the Tech game. The first 2 games are GSU and Central Mich, then we have So. Carolina, Arizona St., Bama, UT, Vandy, LSU, UF, UK, AU, and GT.

Underdog, That is rugged for next year! That is 9 STRAIGHT very tough games next year with only the open date prior to the UT game for relief! It is reminiscent of Florida's schedule last year. But UF got through them by winning one game at a time and finally winning the NC.

Many of us are really expecting big things next year from the Dawgs. We have the schedule; we have the talent for next year, especially with the quality of the recruits that are committed for 2008. There is much to be excited about for both the future and the NOW!
