What does it all mean DawgSpeare? I dunno; you figure it out.
But a couple of comments are in order. Looks to me like UT and UGA have roughly equivalent schedules remaining (we're talking SEC games here, nothing else). GA's 2 remaining games are a little tougher, but we have only 2 left and UT has 3. Every team listed here is by now a FO (formidable opponent), with only Ole Miss being a possible exception. I do not envision UT winning all 3 of their remaining games. Consequently, you know what UGA has to do. Neither SC or UF are out of it yet; either of them could easily win the East if both UT and UGA lose just one more game.

In the West LSU is definitely in the driver's seat and has the easiest remaining schedule. That said, next week's game with Bama will likely decide the West.

YOu have to root for Kentucky to beat Tennessee. Then again, with Tennessee's Jekyll and Hyde season, they could lost to Arkansas as well. And Vandy has a GREAT defense, don't let our slim victory fool you. And dont' forget that they were up 21-0 on SCarolina, then let them come back into the game and eventually had to force overtime THEMSELVES to tie SC 24-24. We didn't show up; they did. Tennessee ain't that great. After all, Florida crushed them. We crushed Florida.

We have to win out. Period. We must beat Auburn and Kentucky, and that's really all we can do. After that...we pray for a repeat of '05.

Dawgs taking the East after all the smack talk not just from the Cornish Gamehens and Ripple top fans but the media in General would be SWEET !!!!! There has a been a general lack of respect for Georgia this year but prevailing yet again in the East would be some well rubbed salt in the wounds. Lets concentrate on Troy and take out Auburn and Kentucky and on to ATLANTA , to thrash TECH and play for another SEC CHAMPIONSHIP !!! GO DAWGS !

The very encouraging thing to me about Dem Dawgs is our offense. As much as I believe in the importance, nay the necessity of a good defense, when you have a fairly dynamic offense, one that has balance and real skill, you really increase your chances of victory in close games because of the big play capability. We have that to a considerable extent w/ KM, MS and a bevy of receivers. None of our players are superstars. In truth, that is good for us. We don't have to rely on one phase (running or passing) more than the other. And with good talent spread widely rather than great talent in one or two spots, we increase the defenders' difficulties in stopping us.

Now, that said, let us please continue the great defense that we played in Jax! Well done defense! Six sacks and good tackling! It was FANNNNTASTIC!

I think even WM is smart enough to realize that Saturday's defense was much better than it's been the last couple of years. I think we stay with the aggressive D from now on. That balanced offense really looked good, also.
We just have to take care of ourselves--I still think UT will lose somewhere along the way.
