Booch was not a big time HC. Claim to fame as a few good years at Central Michigan. Not much if you ask me to come in and win in the SEC. Especially in Knoxville, one of the most brutal fan bases in college football.

Many here including you in particular made this point years ago, time and time again.

You have to look past just the stars beside the names and see where they actually line up. We were never built from the inside out, and Richt would often go for the stars beside the names because he knew he could get them and they would make the class rank high. We were almost never balanced in recruiting and often the O-line was an after-thought.
