I was watching in a bar full of Auburn and Georgia Tech fans. I hit the sidewalk right when Ryan Davis crossed the goal line to make it 30-7. Clearly Auburn's good, but the reappearance of some things from the past were the worst part. 2 or 3 massively boneheaded 15-yard penalties and the muffed punt. I thought Blankenship was going to bury that FG at the end of the half. Consistent with the rest of the day.

Take your beating, learn from it and come back stronger. No margin for error now. Win out or "go home".

Rainy cold gloomy day in Athens

HC said it best Kentucky isn’t going to feel sorry for us.....nope .. they see it as a opportunity

Many clear teachable moments.....learning curve just ramped upward...

Blame storming.... HC didn’t dance.....on him to correct..... Bus and Assburn paid us back

For last years loss in Athens.....this loss will stew for a year....

Life’s hard lessons....should be easily remembered...

Imho ..... we will right the ship ..... team has a clear reminder what awaits in Atlanta...

Bright Sunny Day arrives Tomorrow.....as does practice....

Go Dawgs

Go Dawgs!

An L was going to happen somewhere along the road.

It was a whooping and me thinks we helped them along a wee bit too much.

Learn what an L feels like after 9-0. Don't let it get you down.

The season is not over. Regroup and get on down the road.

Go Dawgs!

For winning the Natty give every Dawg a bone AND prime rib steak.

One thing that won’t be helped is Jim Chaney.

If we can’t just stuff the ball in Chubb and Michel’s gut and run it between the tackles, we’re in trouble.

Now we should be able to do that in our next
couple of games, but if we need an imaginative game play and have to resort to some sort
of second option.... Chaney isn’t capable of it.

He crap only works if we’re in the bully pulpit.

God Bless and Go Dawgs

Seriously guys... not to say this loss
was solely because of Chaney, but good Lord.

No screens, no slants, no draws, no unbalanced lines, no getting the ball in Swift’s hands for the entire first half.

His only reponse to that rush was max protect without realizing that when you have 8 blocking on a two man pass pattern that the D can then have rhat many more coming as well... the notion of TE’s chipping to help with the rush and then releasing is a concept he can’t even conceive. Play action on 1st down and then slants... nope. No traps on their interior linemen who were shooting gaps.

Nope... none of that.. Just shotgun handoff and run up the gut for nothing until it was 3rd and long and they were pinning their ears back.

Now don’t get me wrong... I am not saying any of rhat would have changed the outcome of the game.. we were whipped every way you can be whipped.. mentally and physically. Regardless though, you still want to see your team ATTEMPT some things that are the type of things you do when facing what we were facing. The fact that it wouldn’t have made a difference doesn’t excuse the fact that we didn’t do any of those things.

This describes what Chaney’s play calling was yesterday:

ETA: Guys I know that I have demonstrated a lot of vitriol towards Chaney but I think our young men deserve better than that.

God Bless and Go Dawgs
