Kirby making it clear that he wants certain things from different positions. Several kickers, punters on campus, nothing like competition to either get the best out of the young pups or . . . .
Understand that young pups get their feelings bruised on occasion. Kirby Smart did not take the job at UGA to make "everyone" feel good, for the wrong reason(s).
Parents, college football is not little league.
Head Coach has made it clear that he wants someone that can kickoff and reach the end zone or better. Not a doubt that Smart feels he has a group of athletes on the defensive side that can make it difficult for teams to drive the football consistently to our end zone.
Also, some seem to be disappointed that we did not have a "big finish" today. Hang around college football long enough and it becomes apparent that not every young man is going to land in Athens. These young talented players carefully look at their "competition". Everyone wants to start. When we have 85 or more athletes on board, starting positions are "fought" for, not given.
2017 Class excites me. Mixed with the talent that is on campus with SEC playing experience, with good coaching in 2017, might be surprising.
Moms and Dads . . . . Sometimes "silence is golden".
