Sorry to hear about that bike, DWS. Since you're posting, I guess it's not as bad as it could have been. Hard to keep the shiny side up sometimes, eh?

Another positive or two pointed out by The Lady Sportswriter, Kimberley Nash.
I am excited about Xavier Jenkins for several reasons. First off, Jenkins committed from a high school that has sent a lot of very good players to Tallahassee. Over the past years we have not been what I would term a success in UGA recruiting the Lowndes County Vikings.
Paint the picture any way that we want, we watched too many young men show zero interest in UGA.
Dyshon Sims was in my mind the beginning. He was recruited by the previous group of coaches. Coach Will Friend to be point blank. Coach Friend departed, that bothered me. This year under Coach Pittman, I fully expect to see #55 playing the majority of snaps in 2016. Information that I have, he is "ready".
The STAR rating is far from any . . . . "poll" that is reliable. The signing of our newest running back, a three star player is rated that way because of grade difficulties. Now that he has satisfied those grades and will wear the Red and Black, again shows the confidence that Smart had in Brian Herrien, and Kirby's overall judgment.
There is no way that this group of coaches will fall flat. Too much coaching talent assembled on one campus to do that. Not looking for miracles, do know that this hiring of coaches is the best I have seen since I have been aligned with Georgia Football.
If we go by ratings, Georgia has yet to sign a single five(5) star player and are in the top ten in every poll. Smart and Company are different that what I have observed in Athens . . . . they will take a lesser rated "poll" player and make others wonder how that happened. Actually it is simple, they understand football. That includes coaching abilities.

Mentioned earlier in this thread that it is a good thing watching other sites "wake up" to the need for offensive linemen. This board has been without question the leader in offensive line chatter, forever.
Again Coach Sam Pittman choosing to bring his knowledge, both football and life to Athens is going to be something all of us will remember for years.
Believe that our 2016 offensive line is going to be more than a surprise, these guys have a solid leader, that is back up by a solid first year head coach. Great move Kirby.
Quote from the article below . . . .
I haven’t been so excited about our offensive line recruiting in a long time, maybe ever. Sam Pittman is absolutely killing it on the recruiting trail. We’re setting up to have ridiculous 2017 and 2018 OL classes.

This was posted "11 minutes ago" on the AJC. Timelines mean a lot in the sports writing business.
Appears to me some of the same has been said on Dawgs.com.

I am a big fan of the saying. We don't know what we don't know...
Covers much.... IMO it is true about our HC and his staff
We just get a very small wiff of all that is going on with
Our football program..... It exciting to believe that we
Have actual leadership.... And can trust that it is actually
Making decisions that will improve our team.
Mind blogging.... Love it. Go Dawgs
