Any time that Tennessee is mentioned, my first thought is averagedawg.
There was a lot of "sluffing off" for too many years. That spit is over.
yd1, was at my VA for several hours today. Just returned.
Greg is doing handstands. He is as excited as any of us on this board. Another UGA player that only wants what is best for the Red and Black. Said he is more excited about Kirby Smart than the coach he played for. Will leave that alone.
Greg also said that #55 is kicking butt in practice, offensive line coach is "very aware" of his presence.
Some more "different stuff" later on.
averagedawg, hear a lot about Butch Jones, however when a player like JaCoby Stevens says . . . . "see ya" . . . . not a doubt that a discharge at head coach was needed. Really don't like saying this . . . . High Fives for McGarity to pull the trigger. Do not care how it came about, I like the results.
Dawgs.com has every reason to "BARK". Only site that I am aware of that was constantly asking for the changes that we now have. I read a lot.

Really like the fact that Auburn and Tennessee have to play between the Hedges in 2016.
Feel that UGA will be more than ready come time to face off with Auburn. This game could and probably will put their head coach on the hot seat for sure.
Kirby played against Auburn, coached against Auburn for many years. Auburn is a game that Kirby Smart wants, especially when it comes to playing between the Hedges. No way does Kirby Smart leave Tuscaloosa without many years of an "edge" (being polite) being built up. All teams in the SEC at this point have injuries, not to be used as an excuse, either team. Ask Wartdawg.
Both of the two mentioned teams above . . . . comes down to coaching in my way of thinking. Might be or actually will be that our head coach will not sleep on the sidelines.
Kirby Smart does not want either of these teams to put a "W" on their side of the ledger.
Yes, I know that "all games" are important, some games mean a lot more than others, especially if there is a "W" on the UGA ledger.
Friend of mine says that much is going on in Athens, press not aware, nor will they be unless they have a "knot hole" to look through. Players are excited. Excited because they see the "real deal".
Can't say how happy I am that Lowndes County is finding its way to Athens. Soon, we will hear more about Muscogee County and their return to Athens. Don't bet that, just believe it.
Go Dawgs
EDIT: Folks have probably seen this, if not . . . .

averagedawg can you or I imagine what Champ Bailey becoming a part of the new staff would mean? That is a WOW just WOW!
Not jumping to conclusions, but Champ was at Spring Practice . . . . Kirby Smart is leaving no room for doubt about his plan for Georgia Football.
Too much to hope for?

For those that don't know at this point . . . .
averagedawg was the "loud voice" bringing Head Coach Kirby Smart to Athens.
Does not post much, if he does, usually to the point (quickly). When he speaks, this old fart listens.
