There is a history. Go from there to where we are now.
Comes a time when the "newbies" need to take a look at just exactly where we are and they are.
If we look closely at our history in football, especially since our "first and second recognized National Championships", seems to me that there is a "huge void" there.
Someone tell me that we are and have been "all that".
Stop with that. Have more. Not fair that Buc is the only one speaking . . . . Again.

One thing that I really like about the Friday BPS yd1 is this . . . .
After reading your post(s), leaves many thoughts and it is possible to move in many directions concerning UGA Football.
For instance . . . .
Jim Harbaugh.
Having read many different sites and posts about the ruling on "satellite camps" by the NCAA, takes me to this . . . .
Jim Harbaugh, did exactly what he set out to do. One of two outcomes. NCAA would allow him to go free wheeling, or . . . . shut him down.
Harbough got his name out there for "all to see". Nice move on his part. Really had urban meyer's panties in a wad. B1G now has competition within their conference. Many posts from outsiders were pissed or whatever. Michigan needed a Jim Harbough, badly. Fortunes there will change like overnight.
Michigan got the head coach that was "needed".
University of Georgia hired the head coach we "needed".
From where I sit, all is good, both in Michigan and Georgia.

When I read anything about Tae Crowder, I get excited. Dawg With Style was the first on this board to say . . . . take a look, Tae Crowder is real. Apparently DWS was spot on, now Coach Smart is opening up about this young man.
Think once or twice I have compared him to Tennessee running back Jalen Hurd and . . . . Alabama running back Derrick Henry. At this point comparing size/weight and the way they attack defenses. Tae Crowder remains healthy, he is going to play a lot of football in 2016.
I tend to remember this . . . . those rating these young men had Tae Crowder as an after thought. We will see.
“Tae has grown up a lot and he’s had to,” Smart said. “I don’t know how many times he carried it but it was in the teens. He ran physical and tough behind those pads. I can’t say it’s because we’ve run the ball so well or we can’t stop the run, but one of the two is going on.”
Tae Crowder listens, young man is "coachable". Have posted this video a couple of times, still enjoy watching him use his forearm as Derrick Henry did.

Tae Crowder makes a nice "pocket" for the quarterback to place the football. Probably won't see many or any fumbles behind the line of scrimmage. Some backs never get that down.
