yd1, appears to me after listening to Coach Smart that Coach Pittman is making some progress with the offensive line.
Age or time in grade sometimes does not mean as much as a solid leader.
Coach Sam Pittman could be and probably is one of the great hires at Georgia. From what I can gather, the current group of offensive linemen are on board with Pittman.
Guess it goes back again to "hiring practices". Kirby Smart appears to be a coach that understands how to get to the finish line. Finish the drill somehow did not work out the way the words suggest. Not knocking the players, that "stuff" falls at others feet.
Do not see a weak link in the SEC, East or West. There are teams in the SEC that seem to understand how to beat existing competition. Step out of the SEC, all of our teams seem to show well. SEC is getting tougher, another reason that I would like to see an "honest" top Eight rather than a top Four.
Also appears that South Carolina is going to follow the game plan offensively that Clemson is on at the present time. Kirby Smart is aware I would bet.

Yd1, did a really good Boston Butt this weekend to answer your question from opening comments.
Tae Crowder is the one new back that I have been following since hearing of him here. If he is anything like Derek Henry or Jalen Hurd then we have another special RB, and those in the know say he is so I am ready to watch every play this season.
Good OL play makes the backs job easier as we all know and have advocated for some time. CSP is making it happen as we speak, cant wait to see the results on Saturday, just wish I could be there watching.
Seems that QB is the big question!
CTR is coaching 'em up and attitude is in an upward motion.
GO DAWGS!!!!!!!!!!GATA CER

New Coaches but the same old problem. Can't keep them (players} out of trouble or jail for that matter. Alabama had the same problem, but never got the same media attention. Wonder why! Seems "old Nick" could control the media, not so in Athens.
Enjoy your G-Day game, I'll be working up the Canton, Ga. By the way, don't see this problem at Tech, maybe the Atlanta police are not as efficient as the classic city cops. Just tired of this garbage!!!!!!
As always, GO DAWGS!!!!!!!!!!
