We were thin at tackle (Thanks, Mark)....

...Getting Tyler Catalina in here next season as a graduate transfer with experience
is a pretty big deal.

God Bless and Go Dawgs

Impressed with Coach Pittman posting on the internet after young men commit to him and UGA. Sam Pittman understands and appreciates the young men that will attend UGA and play and learn from him.

Wartdawg, so right you are . . . . offensive line was never a priority under the previous head coach.

Like the fact that Coach Jim Chaney wanted Pittman with him on the offensive side. Interesting that Chaney also has coached the offensive line elsewhere in his coaching career.

Chaney and Pittman first off coaches, secondly good friends off the field. Going to be so much easier and quicker for this duo to bring the offense together. They "know" each others "work habits" having been down this road together before coming to Georgia.

Another solid move from a "first time head coach in the SEC". Good on you Coach Smart. Appreciated by many that have only "dreamed" about this through the years.

Holyfield tweeting about running behind these huge offensive linemen, young pup understands. Good to see "positive" chatter from those that will play between the Hedges.

Coach Smart and Company care not only about the players and their families, this group of coaches care about the fan base.

Something going on in Athens me thinks.

:)

If you have not read the article below authored by "Pouty" . . . . get a chance read it.

While the article was written to "stir the pot", it does this for me.

In the article it mentions the "let down" by the offensive line last season. The offensive line that was supposed to be all that when reading early season articles.

Anyone that spends time watching film/videos of the 2015 Season, not that hard to see that we (UGA) had problems.

As far as the coaching staff building depth last season, that is a damn joke. Two or three players mentioned in the "Pouty" article got some serious playing time . . . . others, guess watching film will expose what was "not done".

Line in the sand has been drawn.

You either can or you can't. The way football is going to be played along the offensive front has changed. According to "Pouty" some of the players on campus are or should be pissed off. To that I say this . . . . I hope so.

Everyone wearing the Red and Black are on the football team to do one thing . . . . produce, or continue on the way it has been for too many years under the previous head coach.

Coach Smart is taking no prisoners. Everything associated with Georgia Football is in the first stage of changing. Much like the rockets that leave Port Canaveral, Florida on occasion. There are "stages" of getting the "payload" into orbit. My windows and doors shake when the payload lifts off. I watch them from my front yard or living room, and I am always glad to see the "boosters" separate.

Article below is "click change".

Right now, we have 6 OLmen either on campus or signed with us who are 300+.......

4 are 330+

In 3 years we should go 10 deep with 300+.

Worst case scenario, Catalina is just average and we still added a veteran for depth. Best case, he is ALL SEC.

Either way, good pickup.
