Like the fact that both Smart and Pittman were recruiting together on these players. Kindly and Cleveland and the two mention above, we got big quick.

Would be hard for anyone to convince me that Sam Pittman is only looking and recruiting big offensive linemen, linemen that don't have talent. Game does not work along those "lines", especially offensive lines.

Kirby Smart is not going to be led down a path of "not knowing" what his coaches are doing, and the talent they are after. Kirby offered and hired his coaches because he has coached against them. Kirby Smart was a coach with Alabama, best college football team for several years while he was on campus, nine (9) years. I refer to that as "experienced".

Great feeling to even consider improvement in Athens. We have often won more games than we lost. We faltered when we played teams that were "prepared". Coach Smart understands "prepared" when discussing coaches or players.

Is anyone out there noticing what Kirby and Sam are building here? (rhetorical question) The days of soft lines are over. The trenches just got bigger and nastier. This was a huge pickup, excuse the pun. Jacob Eason has to be one happy camper.

Now maybe the AJC will stick a sock in it and realize just who Sam Pittman is. Thank you very much.
