Breakfast at grandma's house... biscuits and thick cut bacon, and the smell of grandpa's coffee.

What a smell... he used Luzianne coffee with chickory.. nothing else smelled like that.

I forgot the thick white sausage or red eye gravy for the biscuits.

Anybody remember flour bread, at least that's what Aunt Mabel called it? It really looked like a thick pancake.

No flour bread but biscuits made with lard are delicious. It's been 50 years since I had one.

Molasses was another biscuit dressing.

Me and my wife have fresh out of the chicken eggs every morning, so I mean come on man...... it doesn't get any better than this.
