From Athens- Friday Thoughts

Good Morning All,

It has been a cold and quiet week in the Classic City.

Georgia is voicing complaints about how cold her yard is. Frost all over….looks at me like….how would you like to sit on icy pine cones trying to answer natures call ? Spoiled…..

Me I am hitting the pre-NSD boredom stage….. checking every site trying to find a nugget of information…

Most of the chatter is Recruits trying to add to their 15 minutes of fame…..

taking visits to schools that they know they wouldn’t attend in this or any future lifetime….. all part of college football in 2016…..

We will see when the results are in…but as others here have voiced it appears we have not had the fall off in

recruiting that Was forecasted with our coaching changes… in fact we may have
Actual became a tad stronger in some geographical area’s ……

Interesting quirk….. CMR hires HS coach from Plantation HS..FL
CKS….hires former Carver HS coach …Columbus,Ga… who also has coached at a successful college program….. see us having the advantage here…..

CKS…. Hired Jim Coley… former OC at Miami to stay strong in Florida ….. our HC has taken steps with his staff hires not to be out flanked…. On paper it looks like he has done a good job…

Picture will be clearly with 2017 class….

We are hearing nothing from our coaches or current players…

CKS has embraced the CNS of handling the media….HC speaks when he feel there is something to share….does not flap his gums… it had been forecasted that CKS would adopt this method of passing out program

information…. Media is going to change how they gather their storyline material….. IMO they won’t be able to put out meaningless dribble…..

It will take some getting used to but I think we will enjoy hearing it

Correctly the first time without the fluff we were forced to endure previously…..

Seems like the waiting is going to be more difficult….might be because all that time we waited to see a spark of improvement came and went without any….

NSD as always will come with drama and surprises and we will have our share…. Bones tell me that there are recruits out there with eyes on Georgia that are doing some serious thinking….

Soon we will have all the roster questions answered….looking forward to seeing who commits to the “G”
