From Athens-Game Day Friday # 7

Okay, a few mid season predictions...

I think Georgia is going to win the rest of their games. They have played to two best teams on their schedule. I also think they are going to win the east. Tennessee could easily be undefeated right now. And Bama is Bama.

I think LSU is going to win the west, but don't feel real strong about this. Its a toss up for me between them and Bama. Looking for LSU to whup up on Florida this week.

Aaaaaaah . . . Fresh optimism . . . I remember how that felt once . . . those were the days . . .

You guys are more emotionally involved than I am.

I do see Georgia winning out mainly because they don't have any real tough teams left. I could be wrong but I think Florida is going to miss their qb a lot.

I remember last season when Florida wasn't supposed to be real tough either.

I heard USCe is after Gary Patterson.

With T N Dawg, just not as emotionally invested anymore especially after last week. Sure will scream and yell a little but not going to base my whole Sat or next week on it.

Not going to waste my breath saying anything about CMR anymore.

Agree with Buc, great to have AD5 back, so very knowledgeable, logical with reason attached to his thinking.

scooby, do know that sflanagan21 has watched Will Grier play prior to college. He is right, Will Grier is one of those quarterbacks that has the mentality of a linebacker. Tough guy that is quarterback gifted talent wise. Tough combination to beat.

Treon Harris who was replaced by Will Grier will step in and Harris was suspended last season. Harris has an arm, good running skills and not has a head coach that will move him in the right direction.

Don't know if we are mentally prepared like the preparation that McElwain has brought to the gators.

In a bit of a slump right now (me). Great talent in Athens again facing the same problems of the past.

Kentucky is no pushover, for sure.

First things first, really hope that we come to play tomorrow, Missouri is not going to let up, period.

Still having bad thoughts about our kicking/punting game. Big part of Special Team(s).
