From Athens-Game Day Friday # 7

Good Morning All,

Weather has changed to dry and blue skies. Cool fall nights and warm days.

Been a week of unexpected weird happenings….we lose NC.. UF qb suspended and the old ball sack calls it quits.

So glad we busted him good during his last visit to Sanford….

Duck…..double points….. not sure why he didn’t finish the season….IMHO sends wrong message to players…..he had no problem when all was good taking credit…..thin skinned when it soured….bailed

Interesting opportunity…would Kirby leave CNS for Columbia as HC??

Growl….that would qualify as things getting worst….ya think……

Game day Friday #7 …….. no question the next six games will be just as interesting as the first six…..

What do Vegas know that we don’t???? 17 points…….. can see laying 3 as the home team but….. topping that with 2 TD’s …..I will watch and hold on to my money…… heard this last week… better talent …however there is this coaching thingee……we will know if coaches and players can recover and regroup….. yes which GL shows up????

I will skip making a prediction….. I will watch and QAA…

From the back of the food truck….. Second week for CMR being the center of conversation…… many profound and profane words written and spoke about how we feel about his job performance or lack thereof…..for the record…if you go back to the mess in Memphis and our loss to Nebraska you will find that my feelings do not differ from what is being said currently by many members who post ……and I voiced them at that time….. I have struggled trying to find new verbiage to describe the same recurring problems that lead to the same frustrating results….. I have not been successful…… yet…..
Judging by the number of times we have had to repeat ourselves it become automatic to use and reuse the same words and thoughts

For the remainder of the season I am focusing on the players…..

Coaching…. Time will show us what if anything happens….early money..

Same song we all know all to well….. starts with “Keep Grinding” second verse “Finish The Drill”…… chorus…. “Win the SEC East”

Buc….. have you noticed that TT has started last 2 games and is improving…. Nothing replaces game experience……

I have spoken to how you change the conversation….just win…Texas changed with their win… question now is can we find our voice and use it!!!

yankeedawg1, thanks again for the BPS. Will always be a BPS to this old fart, and that ain't bad. Whether breakfast, lunch or dinner (supper) one thing was certain . . . . "would always return for seconds".

That is exactly how I feel about you and your "recap of the week" or "several weeks".

Can only speak for myself, and have to say this . . . . NC_Dawg departed and I think this board, Dawgs.com took a serious hit. Needs to return, get the "cob out of his butt" and "help".

You mentioned in the BPS, Spurrier "stuff". NC_Dawg has been around for a while, some have been around longer. Maybe he has a better hold on UGA football, but that can be discussed.

AllDawgs5 returned and that is like Santa coming down the chimney.

Bothers me when folks like kentdaddy and ogredawg don't have anything to say. Damnit, all here do not have to be on the same page, and all here do not come from the same place in life.

Hurt feelings belong to all of us.

Game this week is based on what every one thinks, not Las Vegas.

Missouri Tigers scare the heck out of me. Would be totally unfair for me to say what some others are saying about this game.

This is where I am at. On field talent, not a problem. Take that a step further. We have players on the "bench" that could and would start for Gary Pinkel. Fact.

Don't want a war of words behind a computer. I want a head coach that "understands" that he has been through a lot of "assistants" and folks like me are still looking for "results".

I go through every board/site that "chirps" about Georgia football, every day, and it brings me back to this . . . . Why/What/Reason. Have never in years had the three (3) questions answered or posted on any site. Is it me? Does age have anything to do with that?

I post here more than anyone. I also do not like that. Take that to the bank, my friends.

I dont think there are two GL's, he's had 5 bad games and one game where the defense was so bad I could have gotten completions. Nope I dont buy it!

TGIF my faithful Bulldogs friends taking a self day some smoking maybe some drinking for sure some stress relief GUN shooting ending with a Harley ride.

If we are going to do anything against MO, then the O Line needs to show up. They were awful against both 'bama and TN, and I hope there is enough pride in that group to come out snorting fire. They should manhandle MO, but they should have manhandled TN.

O Line shows up, we have half a dozen RBs who can make good use of the space. Like they say on the NFL show, "Come on, man!" (or men).
