Game Day Thread

My take on Lambert after spending several hours this morning watching what film I could find on him at Virginia and film on his 2 starts at UGA. He loses all composure under pressure and it's as simple as that. He forces throws and makes poor decisions when things break down in his progression. I can elaborate on this for paragraphs but there is no need as the freaking proof is in the pudding with Lambert. The fact is Richt and/or Shotty are committed to taking their lumps with Lambert in thinking that he will figure it out. News f-n flash Richt he didn't figure it out at Virgina so what makes you think he is going to figure it out here in the SEC!

Questions . . . .?

Is this the year that we win the SEC? Is this the year that we win the East side of the SEC?

Do we need Eason to take us to the promised land?

Can the same thing be said about Trenton Thompson?

Not pressuring the young players, want to hear something different from LEADERSHIP?

Get to my age, not three yards and a cloud of dust matter that much . . . . three years in the future does not bode well for folks like myself, Duck and others.

pressure either. Any pressure will do. Even if he just thinks there might be pressure. There were some ugly misses yesterday.

Every year I come out more optimistic than anyone I know but about this time every year reality sets in and my wife seems to take more jogs than normal. Yea I take UGA football more serious than I should but it's like a drug for me. Coaching HS football I get tons of appreciation in coaching young kids and molding them into young men. I constantly have to remind myself that that's my job more than coaching football. My point is I get Richt in many ways and I respect him so much for the work he does with his kids and I've seen it first hand on many occasions. But what really erks me is that he is so set in his ways that he craps on other players that are way more deserving!

Faton Bauta is about as close to the total package in a QB that you will ever find in college. His only limitation is that he doesn't have the strongest arm downfield on the deep ball. BUT he can spin the intermediate passes with the best of them in college and that's a fact! The kid is a gamer in every aspect of the word and he will never be allowed to show that at UGA. Bauta please transfer like Park and I will root for you just like I will Park when he ends up at SC in 2 years.

We have been robbed as fans for years from Richt and it looks as though we may continue to be robbed. For the record I don't think Ramsey will be any better than Lambert as they both make horrible decisions so pick your poison. Our best QB transferred to Navarro JC and now our best QB is 3rd string. I'm confused....

I do not believe this thread has done anything more than speaking to what each of us see.

Next week is going to be paying tribute to DUCK. If I could win only one game in 2015, believe this or not, it would be a win against South Carolina/Gamecocks/Steve Spurrier.

One of the members that I have respect for, 36869 has always been someone that backed DUCK up.

Game Day Thread will be a thread that appreciates what Duck said, when folks like myself were in the dark. I said that, and mean that.

Wartdawg, I'm venting big time today with a lot of my coaching friends and two ex UGA starters. Everyone is on the same page with the Lambert evaluation that you and I have. Not a single person that I have spoken with understands what Richt is thinking or doing with this Lambert experiment. All of these guys have a higher football IQ than I do by a long ways!

I guess at this point all we can do is sit back and hope that Lambert can get it together and prove us all wrong. For me I don't see that happening and what really pisses me off is Park transferred because Richt brought in Lambert and now Bauta is sitting 3 deep and getting robbed of an opportunity that he deserves. At least let Bauta take the field and showcase what he has!
