BullDawg2010, believe that sflanagan21 was the first to mention Park's leaving.

Both Park and Bauta have wheels and will run. Difference between Park and Bauta is Park knew it was time to move on. He will be heard from . . . . soon.

The leader in Athens has never liked having a quarterback that would run. Often has said that many young men commit to play for Georgia because we basically run a Pro Style offense. While that might help these young men later on, it in my opinion restricts an advantage they have in college, both for themselves and the fan base.

Seem to remember a quarterback in Auburn that now plays for the Carolina Panthers running the football in college . . . . often. One reason Auburn won a National Championship.

I will always stand behind what I have often said on this board . . . . AM nearly got killed hanging in the pocket.

Something else that bothers me is Carter. He has apparently been in the "dawg house" recently. Noticed he did not start against Vandy. I believe he has "maturity issues". He is not the first, nor will he be the last. Did not like that smile on his face after being kicked out of the game. Big let down to the TEAM. My opinion.

BullDawg2010, not only did he look like he did at Virginia, but if you watch his games last year, Lambert had a HORRIBLE tendency to get passes batted at the line. That has picked right back up again this year.

I've heard, and I have to believe, that the coaches have chosen the QB based on arm strength and "leadership". FB comes in last in arm strength. Right now, I couldn't care less about arm strength. We need someone who can hit a receiver. 11 of 21 passing ain't it. A QB rating less than 100 against Vandy ain't gonna cut it.

Oh well . . . I've been griping about this horrible situation since spring practice. No sense going on about it.

But I think we DO have the right to question why FB isn't even getting a snap.

Next week the Ole Ball Sack will be in town. It's looking like they'll be fresh off of a loss to Kentucky. He'll be in rare form. And we have a habit of losing to him.

I'm comforted knowing we can "open it up if necessary"

per Jake Rowe - Sep 8, 12:45 PM

Until then...

Have to assume it has been discussed to death, but does a miracle have to happen to see Bauta on the field? QB play looked terrible and I can only assume Richts connections to his deity are in play.

Back to this "supposed issue" of arm strength.

Check the film against Vandy . . . . Just how much arm strength is needed to toss a football 10/20 yards?

Have preached a lot over the years about press involvement in "player selection". Believe what you wish, was once and am sometimes now a part of the press. Printed "word" was a powerful tool once upon a time, now paper has turned from web rolls to web electronics.

Anyone on the board pay close attention to the questions at the presser after the Vandy game? Vanilla is a word often used when describing a lot of different categories. Cannot recall one real question about some of the "mess" that again shows if you want to be a part of the press that covers Georgia football . . . . step lightly.

Another thought . . . . Trenton Thompson. Press had Trenton becoming the second coming. Might be that will happen, but the press had Trenton putting on the Red Jersey upon arrival in Athens and overtaking the SEC. Might be that he was hurt and could not play or he has had to face our offensive line in practice and it is a bit different than high school. Just saying, again.

Am I wrong or did I see Greyson Lambert break a "golden rule" in the Vandy game? Ran for a touchdown. Again, just saying.

Yes it will take a miracle for Bauta to see the field.

There was never any 3 way competition. He never stood a chance, and Mule Richt is too stubborn to give him a try. If he gets no shot yesterday, I surely don't see him coming in against SC or anyone else.

Face it.... the QB is this years excuse. There is little chance that Mule will bench his excuse.

God Bless and Go Dawgs
