A few good plays by the Dores but otherwise pretty ugly.

FGs were the HIGHlights, but I guess that's what you'd expect from a 14-12 barn burner huh?

Vandy's poor showing aside, one thing I've learned over my years of watching College football is...don't judge a team after ONLY 1 game.

The most drastic improvement of the season for CFB teams is usually between week 1 & week 2.

I'd expect a focused, hungry, home team to answer the whistle in a few hours.

Hope the Dawgs show a big improvement too.

Goose, there was conversation from the coaches after our opener about wanting to play more freshmen. Not sure how much of that will happen today.

You are 100% right about game plans changing between game one and game two. Something about going against different color jerseys.

Vandy now down 0-1, regardless of what the talking heads say, they will come to play. Agree with you on that also.

Hear a lot of talk about not showing "our bag of tricks". Bet this, something different will be shown today. Keeping everything in the bag does not prove the play will work several games down the road. Have to try new "stuff" when the games count.

Really like Mike Ekeler's enthusiasm.

Don't know how many know this . . . . Ramik Wilson was/is the top tackler for the Kansas City Chiefs this preseason. Ekeler knows his stuff. Not one of the Alabama Gang, but he was chosen by the Alabama Gang to play on the defensive side of the ball.
