Don't you just hate it when you run out of options/excuses/remedies/alternatives/smoke and mirrors/fabrications and illustions???

Should not say this but . . . . some time back made mention of Richt making over 3 million dollars a year. Had a few to give me that "look".

According to several reports that I have reviewed on head coaches salaries, Richt has basically leveled off.

This is what makes those numbers move up . . . . winning. Ok to mention Nick Saban? Why is he more than doubling Richt's yearly guarantee? Guess that comes down to "wins". Not wins against lower rated competition. While Saban has some "gimmies" so does Richt. When it comes to playing top 25 teams, the separation in wins proves why Saban names his salary. Fact.

It's all relevant.

Georgia now is on alert that Notre Dame is on our schedule, don't think that they will choose to back out like urban meyer and Ohio State did.

One thing that Notre Dame realizes is the "schedule" is going to determine who plays in the final four, probably in 2017, the final eight.

Disney will give urban meyer and Ohio State a "pass" regardless of their schedule. All about the money, and Ohio State has a lot of money, that of course is because Ohio State has a huge following, the fans and alumni are no different than UGA fans and alumni. That is what makes college football continue to grow and prosper. Has to be some controversy about different conferences. One thing that we in the Southeast know, there are "other" good teams thoughout college football, but we at this point go along with the "talking heads" . . . . SEC is the best at this point and time.

Going to be interesting to watch our first game. Clemson has a defensive coordinator from Oklahoma, we have a defensive coordinator from . . . . High School . . . . Going to be more than interesting in my opinion.

DWS, with you on Malkom Parrish. Smart, tough, will crack the lineup in his freshman year.

One of my "home boys" Shaquille Jones. Huge talent. We will see.

Not really worried about our defensive backfield. Supposedly have the right teacher, know damn well we have talent. Too much BS about lack of playing time as "newbies". We will see.

Much to look forward to, this is a different group of young men, under a "different" set of rules and those that "teach" them. I said that. Education has been lacking under the current administration. Said that also.

Comes down now to Rocker and his teaching skills, of which I have no doubts. All everything in high school and college. Very good professional player and now "teacher". See folks, that is what has been missing for 13 years under Mark Richt. Not saying that things can't change, they can, just need for Richt to get out of the way and let those that can "teach" TEACH.

For those that want to tell me what a good man Mark Richt is, don't have to do that. I can tell you as a counter point that Tracy Rocker is a very good football teacher. Take your choice, I have moved past BS.

Go Dawgs, Pruitt/Rocker and Company . . . . Coach Them Up, Please.

Another little "thingy".

Those covering college football saying things like this . . . . Notre Dame agrees with a two game series with Georgia. I take offense to that.

Was Georgia on our knees trying to get a home and home with Notre Dame?

Did Georgia really need to have a home and home with Notre Dame?

My thoughts run like this . . . . Not only Georgia, but the SEC is on top of the college football world at this point. Maybe, just maybe Notre Dame needed "Georgia" not the reverse.

We faced off with Notre Dame when we had HW on board, result . . . . That my friends go along with Alabama and Notre Dame. We don't need them . . . . they need us.

If I am Chip Kelly, one thing for sure . . . . I want to "mix" it up with the SEC Football Teams, what does Notre Dame have to lose? I applaud Notre Dame and Chip Kelly for their looking at the real world of college football. Want to be one of the best, imperative you play those in the conference that can boast 7 out of the last 8 NC's.

The one National Championship that got away from the SEC came down to less than a "whisker" of time, and the team that now proudly is the recipent of the Crystal Trophy is located in the South. Take from that what you want.

Unless we have some "more" changes in Athens, it will be difficult to understand why it is that we cannot accomplish more than we do. Year after year. Just looking at those that have won the Crystal since the 1980's. One thing that I don't do is . . . . BS myself. What about you, if you read and participate on this board?

Has been said to me that our board is "silent" and will get "louder" in the Fall. Guess I am different, find much that can be said prior to Fall practice.
