Probaby should not say this DAWGtm, but . . . . Alvin Kamara played the same video and texting games that some others did. Folks can say what they want about Nick Saban and his program, BS stops at the front gate in Tuscaloosa. Some get in trouble, but for sure Saban does not bend to the BMOC type.

Word gets around when a coach or coaches are "this way or that way". Seems that the Pruitt/Rocker gang has lit a fire under Richt's butt. Richt needs to do one thing, realize that he is being "used" by "certain types" . . . . BMOC types.

Richt now has "competent" coaches on the defensive side of the ball. It is imperative for him to back these coaches up, not halfway, all the way. All anyone needs to do is read what the professor had to say about Tray Matthews. Professor had enough and would not allow Tray to "work" his way back in.

Have to say this also. There are others that were involved in the same back stabbing scheme that Tray was involved in. My opinion, show them the Athens City Limit Sign. There will always be football players that want to play in the SEC. Mark Richt needs to stop "thinking" he can change the world. Hell, he has a tough enough job making decisions on Saturdays. I said that. HIS PROGRAM went 8-5 in 2013. Now we have this garbage going on. Wise up Richt, understand when you are being used. And you have been, maybe time to change that.

Have no idea of course as to who has read this article by Seth Emerson. Would urge all on this board that have not to do so.

Smith never played a down for Pruitt, trying to make the Miami Dolphins football team. Cares enough about the University of Georgia to call it like it is.

Sorry folks, but much of this crap lies at the feet of Mark Richt. I do have some disagreements with portions of the article. Mark Richt needs to remove the sleep from his eyes and focus on the task at hand. Not right for Pruitt/Rocker to come in and do his work for him.

When and if Mark Richt "understands" that he has been the head coach in Athens for 13 going on 14 years and what exactly does he have to show for that? Anyone want to size Richt's record up with Saban, Miles, meyer, Spurrier, and now Malzahn? Not a pretty comparison.

I am the one person on this board that calls Mark Richt a "front man". Watched him from day 1 until now. Should I be impressed with his record? If you are, you and I have different thoughts about where we want our football program to be.

Enough. If you have not read this article, it is here to peruse.

Seth, those at the AJC could learn a lot about the thoughts and wishes of those of us out here that "wonder about the ARENA" and the words used by our head coach. Sorry to be so "vanilla".

So, Smith is calling for what . . . . LEADERSHIP from the players. Think that some of us have used the LEADERSHIP word when discussing our head coach. Truth.

Reason we have not made our way to the National Championship since the 1980's? Looking back over the players that have passed through UGA and gone on to be "forces" in the NFL . . . . makes me keep asking . . . . why?

Do we need a "front man" or a head football coach that . . . . LEADS.

Say again, Mark Richt has a "golden opportunity" right now to stop his BS and move forward.

Anyone satisfied with Mark Richt making over 3 million a year for x number of years, leave it alone, you and I are not looking for the same results. I read some of the "stuff" being posted about Mark Richt, makes me wonder if I am that far off base.

After Mark Richt hangs it up, anyone want another head coach that takes at least 3 million a year x same number of years to be in the final four/eight?

Baffles me, can't understand how so many can believe that we have a head coach that is a LEADER. Say it again. Second string college quarterback, not close to a quarterbacking job in the NFL, and going on his 14th year at UGA and what?

If I were Mark Richt I would be smiling and energetic about Jeremy Pruitt and Tracy Rocker coaching in Athens. Just think what it would be in 2014 without those two . . . . Yes, Buc just keeps coming back to reality. Wasted too much time with someone that is "milking" the system. I said that. Don't agree, you and I should discuss this openly.

Someone please enlighten me, old man out here looking for answers.

Alabama hired Nick Saban.

LSU hired Les Miles.

Florida hired urban meyer.

Auburn hired Gus Malzahn.

What do those head coaches have in common?

You and I know the answer to the above.

While many get tired of hearing Buc bark, it ain't gonna stop.

Several years at 3 million a year, let's just take the past 5 years. 3 x 5 = 15 million dollars. Simple question. Getting your moneys worth?

Do you really think that Mark Richt is not about the money? Think that way, ask him to resign. Think he would? Already plans to be here for at least 3 more years. Anyone believe that Mark Richt is capable of bringing a National Championship to us in 3 years? What has changed to make anyone think that? Think that Pruitt/Rocker can do that? If so, why is Mark Richt the head coach?

See, I know how many think . . . . the other guys cheat. No handshakes going on in Athens, right? We are without a doubt the best run program in the D1 Division when discussing honesty. Our leader follows the rules, and plays with his headset on Saturday afternoons.

I've picked up on the fact that you don't like MR. No need to talk shet about his playing career...

I don't believe Les, Nick, urban, or gus started at a big time football schools or were nfl players?

Really not a lot of good coaches were great players. Funny how that works.

Takes me to this scooby . . . . Agreeing that Richt was not a great or good NFL player. Short timer. Would not describe him as being a great D1 college football head coach. Appears he is second team in both job classifications.

I don't hate Mark Richt. I dislike (openly) what I view as not being capable of taking talented players and coming away with little more than average outcomes.

Say again, don't hate Mark Richt. I dislike what I think is a lack of "what it takes" to move UGA forward on a year to year basis under his lack of leadership.

Wonder sometimes if Jeremy Pruitt would be in Athens if Will Friend was elsewhere. Just a thought.

How do you feel about the Georgia/Clemson game? Meaning winner/loser.

What the hell, will say it . . . . Mark Richt, you and Georgia fans needed someone that has a brass set. NC_Dawg, so right you are about Pruitt earning his stripes earlier than some, some that never earned their way or right to call themselves leaders.

Stay out of the coaches way, let them show how "successful programs" are run. Facts speak for themselves.
