No doubt that Pruitt was a player! Word I'm hearing was that Tray got sideways with a Prof during class, LE's were called in.....and you know the rest of the story! I suspect this incident was strike three!

NC_Dawg, could it possibly be that we "have turned the page" in Athens. Not necessarily the very noticeable things, the "other" things that have always been "hidden", or "glossed over".

Mentioned a time or two here that I really like seeing coaches on both sides of the ball playing team ball.

Sit down to a poker table, great cigar, favorite beverage and talk about what moves our program forward. That in my estimation has been missing since . . . . fill in the blank(s).

College football is no different than NFL football, both are copycats in doing what is necessary to win.

Takes me back to something I read recently. Discussion was whether or not Vince Lombardi was the best coach ever. What I felt was missing from the article was the fact Vince did not have to be the "best coach" ever when it came to drawing up plays. What Lombardi did was get the attention of the team, any slackers were gone.

Tray Matthews was and is a slacker. All I have to do is open my eyes, it is there and not sure it will ever change. I hope that this will be "close" to the final turning of the page or at least developing a different way of bringing the "entire team together".

Sounds like he needed a belt to the backside while he was growing up. There is no excuse for being disrespectful. That would probably explain CMR blunt statement. Give me a 2 star anyday that wants to play rather than a 4 or 5 star that thinks he is entitled to play.
