wlayton, you stole my thought. :) Says to me that Bobo thinks Hutson can put it out there. With the great speed appears to me that 20 to 30 yard tosses can result in much more.

Really hoping that both sides of the ball can make this 2014 edition work. Have to believe that the players like seeing the offensive and defensive coaches getting along. Been a while since that has occurred.

But one thing is for sure he is a DAWG through and through.

I have been a CMB critic for sometime now. Just when I am bout to sing his praises, we go into that conservative mode like DAWGtm mentioned. And it always seems to be when we need a crucial drive or we need to run out the clock and we go 3 and out. Have said even I could be UGA's OC with the talent he has to work with. Maybe not. But I want to scream when we are 3 down and 5+ and we run out of the shotgun.

TN Dawg, you are not alone in what you say above. Been there done that . . . . more than once. Maybe this season we get both sides of the ball working better "together" and some of that "crap" comes to a halt.

Speaking for myself, feel that Mike Bobo is now the offensive play caller. Not going to point my finger at Mark Richt on that issue. Richt has openly said that Bobo is calling the plays. All I have to say about that is this . . . . the guessing game is "over". Mike Bobo is in charge of the offensive side of the ball. What I see, is what I see.

As well it should be Buc. OC is in total control of offense and DC is in total control of defense. Those two guys know what is expected of them. If they don't it falls on the HC. Get out of the way and let them coach.
Hey...wouldn't that allow HC to maybe look at special teams?? Maybe strategy?? Just a thought.

Great post! Spot on!

For too long there was a "shell game" going on in Athens.

Going to be a kick in the butt if the Special Teams turn out to be all that, after such a long time. Trying to be good . . . .
