Have this feeling that Tray Matthews might have stepped out too far.

Not going to surprise me when I see Paris Bostick penciled in at the Safety position. Tall, strong, fast and played in the defensive backfield at Plant High School. Perfect temperment to make folks shy away from his area.

Believe this is one player that Pruitt will watch closely. Could be the opening that Paris needed to show his "stuff". Pruitt said this camp is more about those that "want" to play.

Apparently TM's head got too big with all that praise last Spring. Did surprise me, thought he was "smarter" than what he just showed.

Take a good look Pruitt, Bostick has the qualitites that you said you wanted from your players.

The video below shows one of the reasons why Alabama football has been and is successful. Nick Saban not watching as "other" head coaches are known to do. Saban is right in the middle of working with the defensive backs. Makes a lot of money, but he does what is expected of him . . . . coach.

Pruitt leaves Saban and lands with Georgia after a brief stop in Tallahassee. Pruitt coaching defensive backs in Athens and making 850,000 a year. Saban coaching defensive backs in Tuscaloosa and making in excess of 7 million a year. Money is not everything to those coaches that get "involved" in the betterment of their football team. Saban is a "worker" and it pays off not only for him, for the University of Alabama, the State of Alabama and the fan base.

Notice in the video that Saban is doing the coaching, no one else. Also tells me that Saban does not let "just anyone" work with the defensive backs. To me, after watching the video, lets me know just how good Pruitt is. He has the Saban endorsement.

Kirby Smart does get a cameo appearance, but Smart is Saban's right hand man. :)

Stay the hell out of the way and let Pruitt coach.

Watching this video, incredible how much "talent" never gets to play D1 Football. If somehow we could get these "young knuckle heads" to understand that "passing grades" mean so much to their future, whether football or excuse me, "the real world".

One thing that I watched closely in the video was the defensive backs allowing the receivers to move without "thud" as some like to call it.

Gentlemen, that changes with Pruitt and the folks that are on board, and I might add . . . . the coaches are different than I have seen on campus in more years than I like to think about. Would be "ready for the usual" as I have seen in Athens for a long time, but "something" has changed.

Anyone notice who the newest D1 Defensive Player Justin Young was recruited by? I am sure everyone did. Tracy Rocker, rocks me. Could not have come up with a better coach for the University of Georgia. Erk is loving this, as is Lewis Girzzard. Tracy Rocker, if I could give you "high 20's" instead of "high 5's" would do so. This old fart understands your value to our program.

Those like "Pouty" will never understand, see they are about "themselves". Many of us quit reading the newsprint a long time ago, we used it in the "out house". One step below a "mullet wrapper". Furman, Jesse and Ed, the Chip's of the world will never understand their short comings.

You folks want to see what Jeremy Pruitt brings to Athens. Do you think that you (we) really know? Do you think that Mark Richt and Greg McGarity really know? If they, Richt and McGarity knew, where have they been hiding it?

Maybe you guys have watched this video, going to bet that less than 10% on this board and others have. Also going to bet that less than 10% will watch the video.

If we don't want "excuses" then the program in Athens has to change. We now have 13 years without a National Championship. We have two (2) recorded in college records. Check what has happened in Tuscaloosa since Nick Sabans arrival.

Saban ran meyer out of the SEC, somehow Mark Richt remained. Is Mark Richt capable of leading our program to the Final Four? I am asking all that belong to this board. Do I think so? No. Mark Richt is not a leader when it comes to the Final Four as has been laid out for us. Yes, Mark Richt is surrounded by football talent, but so are many other universities.

Some on this board and others need to get a grip when it comes to thinking that we (UGA) are even close to some others in the SEC.

We now have a chance, but as a long time UGA supporter, my feeling is that what we are seeing now will not last.

One question for all that read or post here.

If Jeremy Pruitt had not arrived in Athens, where would our program be now? For what it is worth, about the same place after Erk was released or allowed to leave by VD, and went to Statesboro and installed a winning program.

Like it or not, we are a "Middle of the Road Program in the SEC under the present leadership" (?).

Will it change? If you post here you should have a reason to believe that our leaders believe as much in the Red and Black as you and I do.

Take 15 or so minutes out of your life and watch.
