Every time i post here I kind of regret it, but i cant help myself.
You cant really blame a guy with NFL talent for thinking "what if". You play in college and you are compensated with a scholarship. Not talking about Todd G, but in general many of these guys arent that smart and they arent going to be that much better off in life with a degree. College doesnt really make you any smarter. When every one goes like the seem to now, so what.
If TG doesnt get hurt next year he will sign a nice contract in the NFL and make a lot more money than ole scoob ever will. It is really unbeleivable how much money nfl players make. I cant blame a guy for thinking about his future.
A big NFL contract is about perceived potential. TG has proven himself and I dont see his perceived value increasing much next year. Even if he doesnt suffer a major injury, playing running back is brutal. Every hit he takes will be one more toll on the body. He is getting a year of free tuition, when giving up a year of big dough at the end of his pro career.
A lot like J Clowney. Im sure he thought about Marcus Lattimore and decided he was going to be careful last year.
