Had made up my mind that I would watch others on this board take over. Several top notch folks, one in particular. I have been trying to keep this board alive, so many good posters with knowledge of UGA Football here. Several still monitor this board, but don't post. Reason (I think) folks like myself and others talk to the truth. I said that.

Then I find this and don't give a damn who on this board wants to stay away from the truth. Below is the truth as I see it. Buc does not have rose colored glasses.

POS mark richt is going to bring his son to Athens. Allow me to repeat that . . . . mark richt is bringing his son to Athens. Shows just how far the media has turned an 8-5 season around. Could not do a damn thing about Special Teams, other than coach speak, but he can bring his family to our football team. richt is on top of our program.?

I hope that there are one or two here that can see just how much we have been "jacked" around for many years. Willie and now son. What part of this do you and I not understand? I promise each and every one on this board, I understand, and I do not hide behind anything or anyone, I know that we are being hustled.

Damn just damn. Don't believe that richt is in this for the money? If you can come to this thread and say that . . . . you and I will have a discussion. If you have a problem with that, you simply do not understand, or I don't understand what mark richt and the "Group" are doing to football in Athens. Might be me, if you have the brassies, you and I need to get it on. Have noticed before that some of the "older folks" like to stay away from "real UGA" talk. Would rather go in other directions. That is ok, but . . . .

Too many on this board cannot see the forest for the trees. What bothers me is that too many believe in "next year" and shy away from "real UGA conversations".

One simple question. Why would mark richt bring his son to Athens when there are so many young men more qualified? Yes, I have names, do you?

mark richt, Bobby Bowden taught you well. You are in my mind after 14 years, someone that knows how to move the truth around. Coaching changes saved your butt again (2014), what the hell, make another 3 or 4 or 5 million dollars and bring your son in to cash in.

Just how long did it take you "Goofy" to understand that Bryan McClendon had saved your ass, several times?

All of you on this board that believe that mark richt should be our head coach, and as I have said and some of you . . . . stay out of the way . . . . is this staying out of the way? Seeing too many on this board moving back to the mark richt way of doing/coaching in the Classic City.

Said several times, been around too long, not going to bend over for those that post here that don't have a damn clue. Are we going to the final four? Want to wager? Will it be because of mark richt that we are in the final four?

Explain to me why richt is the right head coach of UGA. Give you a heads up. Because he is very good in living rooms with Moms. Anyone ever look at the young players after they leave the living room? Maybe like JHC, or IC? There is a long list. Don't care about the other universities, every school has its problems. UGA got 2 of the top 10 recruits in Georgia. Wonder where we would be without Bryan McClendon? Will not hear too much about those that truly do the work in the media.

Just a simple question which I doubt anyone really knows the answer. Does the UGA football staffing budget allow for this position to receive a salary that someone else could be getting?

If the answer is yes, then it is obviously wrong.

The article states Jon is a volunteer assistant, but I don't know if this would be a paid position for someone else or if the job would even exist if MR wasn't letting him do the volunteer work.

It should be easy to find out if there has ever been a paid "offensive quality control assistant" or whatever the title is before or if this is just sort of a recently made up title. I didn't get the impression that this was a paid position that was ever an official part of or staff.

I don't know the answer, but hopefully this is not very different from "bring your kid to work"
day where little Jonny gets to come hang out and see what daddy does for a living.
