agree on the officiating...it is extrememly frustrating when we hit a guy in the chest (Vandy) and it's called targeting, and watching Bama rough AM up and it isn't.

what kills me even more is when the replay shows clearly the play should stand or be reversed, and they still can't get it right.

i'm in the minority, but i want to do away with replays. hell, 33% of the time they still blow the call. at least if you are going to have replay, make it where you get ONE look at the replay and if you still can't decide the play, keep the original play call.

Big AMEN to that!! Hey, remember, Michel and Chubb haven't signed the dotted line yet.

You folks like A. J. Turman. Spent time here in Central Florida watching him.

I knew you had seen him play. Does he remind you in person of a combo of Gurley hitting the hole hard and of Marshall's smoothness in the open field?

wlayton, AJ loves to take two, three steps and run downfield. However that is just a part of his game. He is very accomplished for a young man recently out of high school.

Reminds me of Terrell (TD) Davis. How is it that this kind of talent gets one line or no lines of copy in the media crap. They don't know, they write what they "hear".

Might enjoy watching this piece of video. Here is hoping he does not end up playing for another university in the SEC.

Had some problems playing under Goff. Goff would not release any of his film on TD to the NFL.

Edit: Third or fourth time I have posted this video. Just to refresh memories in Athens, and elsewhere. When AJ cuts, he is ready for whatever is there. Does pass block, but remember, high school and college, especially the SEC, different totally.

NO doubt that there is a big difference between HS football and SEC smash mouth football. I've watched that footage of Turman many times and what always stands out to me is how great his vision is before he hits the whole, you can not coach vision you either have great vision or you don't. Another tangible that Turmnan has that can not be coached is break away speed...

sflanagan21, AJ is not a "one year wonder". Maybe you have watched the video being listed here. Accumulation of several years showing AJ's talents.

My greatest fear with the offensive staff is that they are so set in their ways, young men like AJ sit on the bench. Watched this same group of coaches not only do this with Moreno, but same can be said for Ramik Wilson on defense. Sorry, anyone that thinks that Herrera holds a candle to Wilson, guess we don't see football the same way. All-SEC Ramik Wilson.

Changes will be made on the defensive side of the ball this 2014 Season, some changes need to be made other than coaching changes.

Another name that many don't really know much about Paris Bostick. I try not to use the word "animal". Paris is an animal, and you don't want him after you. Probably end up at OLB, but has the talent to play in the defensive backfield. All many boards get and talk about are the incoming recruits, especially if they are 4 and 5 star rated. They make their money selling pay for view.

Would love to see someone "wise up" and talk with the players that are past the hype of the press and have been on campus.

Amazing the talent that resides in Athens right now, without a single new recruit. Find the right coaches, then we can talk about being in the final four.

Anyone familiar with the name Faton Bauta . . . . joke is not on me, it is on those that call themselves SEC coaches.

You folks have any news on offensive linemen? Supposed to be a lot of talent in Georgia this year and next. Guess the media will put that information out there.

Back to AJ Turman. Notice folks trying to ankle tackle him, same as they did TD.

I'm not on the O coaching staff at UGA so I can only assume that he was red shirted and Green and Douglas were not because he wasn't caught up on the PB or that Green and Douglas just out played him. I watch kids play either live or from footage and I draw my opinion from what I see over and over again. Turman is special in so many ways and I hope we get to see that in the near future at UGA and not somewhere else.

i do think cmr will play turman as long as he knows the plays and can pick up a blitz. one thing to outrun kids in hs; another thing to pick up blitzes and pass protect in the sec.

buc, i hear you on turman. but, even though i don;t care for cmr, his history shows he will play several rb's......maybe not every yar, but many years. the thomas davis years come to mind.

but since i'm not an offensive expert, i don't know if turman even knew the plays or not. but if he wasn't ready to block and pick up blitzes, then i don;t want him oin there.

if he can help richt look good, i believe he will play.

with gurley/marshall/douglas and as long as ONE of the 5 stars coming in is the real deal, turman will not be the reason we win or lose.

i'm much more concerned about bauta not getting a shot
