I think this guy can take his place Shaquille Jones 6'2" 175 wt. 40 yards in 4.50 just a 3 star but CJP can get those other 2 stars this fall.

He might even play both ways.

Seem to remember Shaq basically being given an ultimatium just before he signed on with us. He was doing that song and dance routine that many of the young recruits started doing recently. He was quick to sign on.

Shaq pulling out like this, will not improve his stock to play later on, and maybe in the near future. Some of these kids don't understand that certain coaches will not put up with the "stuff" that some like to showcase.

Allow me this. Another point. Understanding that we had many players leave prior to the 2013 Season. Several latching on with the NFL.

This season we have had zero to be chosen in over 100 selections. Understand that there were a couple that could have left and probably would have been taken in the top 100.

My point is this. When we look at other teams in the SEC that continually send players that are selected year after year, believe that points to our recruiting or lack of for the past few years.

Heard one of the talking heads say that Alabama only had 4 players taken in the top 100 in this years draft, an off season for Saban.

Many of the young folks that are being selected are from the State of Georgia. Not trying to start controversy, just real life things that I look at and comment on. Hope this latest coaching change(s) will reflect different numbers in the future. Not one year, every year.

Takes me back to a word that our head coach uses . . . . "consistency". May be that we are headed in that direction . . . . might be that the "Shaq" thingy will get the much needed attention by both players and coaches.

DWS, Shaquille Jones played for the local high school that I am around a lot. Allow me this, he played for a very good football team at Merritt Island, and played against very good competition in the State of Florida.

Shaquille Jones was brought on board by Sherrer. Young man has a nose for the football. This Shaq is not intimidated or afraid to compete for playing time. Sherrer wanted Jones, young man was on his way to Louisville, glad that did not happen.

yeah Buc that made me think about J.Jones and IC.
As much as I liked JJ29 I would of been alright never seeing JJ were the red and black if it meant no IC.

i'm a Gurley fan 111 percent remember IC was here when him and Marshall arrived I know people were bashing TG for not giving it his all in spring practice but at least he maned IC took his self out of the games.

Me personal I think TG being a JR. can take off as long as he rides the hell out of the other backs.

He knows whats expected and Hells Bells hes going to deliver I bet the only way he comes out of the clemsup and chicken game is we score or get stopped.

In HS Gurley worked as hard as any back i've ever seen play he was still hurt when he came to Georgia he didn't expect to be carrying the load but he did.

This being his last year at Georgia you will see a new man even if hes hurt we will never know until the season is over.

Chubb came to learn from Gurley trust me Gurley going to teach.

I think Sony is going to impress because he actually can do it all and most important to me is Chubb and Sony have above average GPA that matters for a RB at Georgia maybe not at alot of places but here IMO its a must.
