Sorry, small tidbit....

Buc you reminded me when mentioning AM and Mett. Did you see where Mett drug tested positive at the NFL combine? What an idiot....may hurt him.

A DT smoking a little pot probably doesn't hurt his draft status but your potential QB, your LEADER?.... that's a different story to the guys evaluating in the NFL.

No positive test just a diluted sample was given. The NFL treats that like a positive test. His agent said he was told to hydrate up to 1.5 gals of water before the combine.

There might be an innocent explanation for this. Mettenberger’s agents and physical therapist both claim that the watered-down sample is the result of him over-hydrating after experiencing cramps at the combine. Jason Eliowitz, the physical therapist, said, Mettenberger was advised to drink as much as “1 to 1.5 gallons of of water per day, to increase his consumption of foods high in potassium, and to increase his sodium intake.”

wlayton Mett talent with a brain of a sparrow and a ME guy

On the subject of AM and CMB AM was a student before he became better than the teacher

From HS to this point in his career many have had input with AM but he did all the work

CMB on HM footwork yada yada dig back and CMB had the same coach speak about AM

Will HM be better than AM don't think anyone would say that

HM needs to the same as AJ did at Bama Play smart and protect the ball

Just returned from my VA.

Mettenburger's name being mentioned ahead of AM's by "those" that have their heads up their butts rating players.

This is what I have. Mettenburger knew that AM had him whipped in the quarterback battle in several different areas. Keep hearing this arm strength BS. More to running an offense than being able to blister hands with passes.

Mett just seems to have that "thing" that too many players have . . . . very slow wave lengths in the gray matter.

As Jon Gruden, and now a couple others have said, someone gets a football player when they choose AM. Been around football for a long time . . . . AM is not one that accepts what others have to say on the down side.

Would make this wager right now. AM can read defenses better than half or more of the quarterbacks in the NFL, both starting and backing up. He was doubted for the same reasons in college that he is now faced with from the NFL "experts". The experts that said Seattle's quarterback would have to sit for a couple of years before starting, if then.
