To those hating on CTG...

Part of it is that I have given up on MR being removed, and the one hope this program has with MR In place is to have a top 10 type defense.

I no longer think TG can deliver that. MR is a pretty patient guy, and even he is losing it with the D. One thing he's been honest and more importantly, accurate, about was what he said at halftime during the Missouri game. When asked what was wrong, he basically said "the usual.. not covering and not tackling". We also saw his legitimate frustration over wasted timeouts and other nonsense. I think even Richt knows the "youth" excuse is running out of legs. Like me as well... I think this frustration from Richt didn't come out of nowhere either.

Sure, stats can push any argument in any direction, but this witch hunt after CTG is interesting.

I don't see what 3 players getting canned only to leave this year filled with newbies has to do with stats.

And while the defense was not stellar the past couple of years, it was not bad at all and people did step up when needed. It seems that a lot of you forgot how often the offense was 3 and punt, only to leave almost zero time for the defense for rest.

I've been pro-fire Richt forever now and find the guy to be the main reason for our mediocrity and lack of consistency. It was a surprise to watch some of you go right after Grantham and then support Bobo. I don't know, to me, it just didn't make much sense.

Been saying Bobo has to go for a while not as long as some. Said last year mid way thru that CTG was not the one to lead us to a crystal football.............and CMR well....everyone knows where I stand....all THREE need to go.........end of story.....

And I fully agree. I'm just pointing out the shift from Bobo to Grantham. While Bobo has been doing slightly better, there is still no proof that it is him making the improvements. Richt has come out saying that he has helped out with offense in the past, so what's the chance that he is doing it this season?

Grantham is a rejection of the mediocre system placed at UGA. He came in to fix our defense and Richt pulled back his abilities due to his style. The two have shown negativity towards each other in the past, I can only assume that they are still not getting along today. I would hate to see a good coach go due to the head coach dragging that coach down to his level.

I haven't said anywhere that I'm no equally as done with MR. Pretty much done with all of them.

Had this been a thread defending Richt, I would have posted what I thought about him.

Wasn't though... it's a thread defending TG. Plenty of other animosity towards the others in a different thread.

I think there's about 3 or 4 of us who everyone should know where we have stood for the last several years.

Can we do away with the phrase HATED ON, no one hates TG, but, a lot of us disagree with his handling of UGAs defense. That phrase is not called for and it offends me.
