National media begins to think we are for real. Enjoyed reading the link below, knowing some here have read what Marc Weiszer had to say.

wlayton, really believe that he will play. Think that a redshirt would be a good move, on his part. Sounds like Rumph is pushing hard to get some time with AM. 6'5" could be deadly at some point. Beautiful thing watching the depth build and players wanting to play.

Watching Florida real close.

Auburn players and (one coach) will give everything to keep folks from leaving the stadium at halftime this season. Would love to have this game between the Hedges this season.

Tennessee, well crowd noise means a lot, and there will be a lot of folks there, for how long, not sure. Still have some hard feelings about the way some of the folks up there were putting averagedawg through. Goes around, comes around, yeppers . . . . Blowout suits me fine. One point win is a win. Team returns to Athens, hope AM buys ice cream for the entire team. I would do it, although probably not allowed by NCAA rules. Wartdawg probably has that section and sub-title number down. :)

Really like feeling this way, hope it continues. Can see where the summer drills that the players participated in have paid off. We are going to miss AM. Not only for his on field work, what he has done off the field. Again, bright future for that young man.

I am more worried about Mizzou coming into our house than this game. Don't see a let down. Buc stated they are in pads again this week so the coaching staff is keeping them focused.

Another thing about being in pads . . . . can recall not being able to do that a short time back. Fear of someone getting hurt. Also, speaks to the health of our team.

Believe we (UGA) put a plan in place three years back, or close to that time to take a hard look at our program. Changes are apparent.

One other thing, reinforces my thoughts on players coming to Athens in 2014. Coaches know, they however won't and can't speak to that. If I had to wager, would place a bet on the fact that right after the win over LSU, some or more than one athlete told coach they would arrive in Athens in time for Spring practice. I said that, and believe it.

Really like being positive, been a hard go for some time. Been said many times, there has always been talent in Athens. I say now, more talent than I can remember over many, many years.

Buc....a ridiculous amount of talent in Athens. Going to be a whole lot more (at least quality) after that showing against USC and LSU.

ogredawg......I've been having a little of the same feelings about Mizzou. Feel we are MUCH better than they are but after beating them last year, there's where the "let down game" could rear its head, imo. They've been under the radar this year but playing pretty well......will keep an eye on their game with Vandy this Sat. for sure. That may give a better feel for them.

Off the subject a little bit wlayton.

Would not surprise me to see Franklin moving on . . . . soon. Ideally, think that the opening that was created by LK leaving is a possibility. If I were Pat Haden or the AD at USC, would definitely have a sit down with Franklin.

What does he have to offer? Has started to build a recruiting base in the Southeast. Vanderbilt is much better since his arrival.

Combine the football talent in California and the strong possibility of pulling SEC type talent into the fold, many possibilities.

You know me, sometimes I have thoughts . . . . :)

Back to Georgia. Hoping to get one or two offensive linemen. Left tackle I want, but will not call his name at this point.
