Buc wrote: wlayton, think I am right with this statement. You like myself were a bit upset when later on (after the Saban pull back in Athens) folks started talking that same talk at a later date. Believe in that particular thread your post went "something" like this.
"A night that Nick Saban called his troops off, could have beaten us much worse". That was absolutely the truth if ever told.
Realize that the older I get, the closer I try to remain in reasonable thought. To me there is not a better looking football uniform in college or NFL football than ours. Did not like the uniform change in Atlanta against Boise State. Kept my mouth shut, did not like it though.
Allow me to insert this link below from Kimberley Nash. Not trying to start a downer, do however agree with what she said. Since the Nebraska game in Orlando, do not think I have seen the same player she mentions in the article.

Aaaaah Buc, how well I remember THAT game (you are correct on my statement....he called them off). If it had been SOS the score would have been twice as bad.
I'm a traditionalist and in my unbiased opinion
UGA has the best looking uniforms in all of college football. If I could have been blessed enough to put that helmet on with the "G" on the side....I would have died on the field for UGA......can you imagine the adrenaline rush being on that field.....gives me chills.
Anyway, getting carried away.....couldn't pull your link up (I'm at work....blocked) assume you are talking about Swann.....what's up with him??....sit him on the bench if he keeps getting beat like that....terrible.
Tradition.....for me that is what makes college football great.
