Here at the office, my Notre Dame-fan-friend (who is now my BOSS) says he thinks the Georgia D actually did a lot better than most people think. He believes LSU has a top flight offense, much like UGA and thinks the Dawgs are going to have a much easier time making it through the rest of the schedule because the offenses are more ordinary. He said there were some obvious breakdowns from a young D, but was VERY focused on the ability to stop the run and the heat that was put on ZM. Young secondary against NFL receivers and a future NFL QB made the game dicey, but the front 7 played really well and saved the game.
No let downs this week - or any other week. "Hell Month" is past, so now it's time to focus, prepare and get up for every game. Number 6 in the nation, no room for error. Finish out the schedule the right way and hopefully everything else will fall into place. Tennessee should NOT beat us, but in Knoxville, in front of a LOUD crowd and playing a team that wants to take us out more than anything on earth - won't be a cakewalk.
Score early and often, make a few stops and make the second half much easier.
