Road Trip! Gotta go visit the Volunteers

Road Trip! Gotta go visit the Volunteers was created by stevedawg
After the LSU game it is hard to get in the swing of a road trip. It was a good game and we got enough points on the board for a W.
Now we are going to Tennessee. Gotta get some points on the board and the defense has got to hold.
Any thoughts?

For winning the Natty give every Dawg a bone AND prime rib steak.

For me....if they can just stay focused, they will be fine......most of that should and will come from the coaches. The positive "spin" on this situation is the fact they all know this team as a whole is not "there" yet. The D has a lot of work to do.

They should know.....it's still very early.

The win was impressive. They have celebrated and now it is time to prepare for an opponent that is looking or its identity and a signature win in the SEC. Come on coaches, keep UGA grounded.

UT is breaking out their gray unis for us. Think it is going to take more that that for them to beat UGA.

Here at the office, my Notre Dame-fan-friend (who is now my BOSS) says he thinks the Georgia D actually did a lot better than most people think. He believes LSU has a top flight offense, much like UGA and thinks the Dawgs are going to have a much easier time making it through the rest of the schedule because the offenses are more ordinary. He said there were some obvious breakdowns from a young D, but was VERY focused on the ability to stop the run and the heat that was put on ZM. Young secondary against NFL receivers and a future NFL QB made the game dicey, but the front 7 played really well and saved the game.

No let downs this week - or any other week. "Hell Month" is past, so now it's time to focus, prepare and get up for every game. Number 6 in the nation, no room for error. Finish out the schedule the right way and hopefully everything else will fall into place. Tennessee should NOT beat us, but in Knoxville, in front of a LOUD crowd and playing a team that wants to take us out more than anything on earth - won't be a cakewalk.

Score early and often, make a few stops and make the second half much easier.

Tennessee has beaten us in other years when they should not have beaten us.

This game is a maturity and concentration test. For a team not focused, this is a classic let-down game.

Time to forget about LSU.

If we are focused, we beat UT by 17 points.

I hate orange..... especially that shade.

God Bless and Go Dawgs

TN Dawg, brings back memories of "Black" when being invaded by Saban/Alabama a short time back.
