Buc, you and I are "old school". While those high scoring shootouts can certainly be entertaining, they can also be pretty flat and boring, even if it is back and forth. I think that's because it's like a basketball game at that point - lots of scoring, but no real strategy. Truthfully, a low scoring game that is poorly played is probably even worse - like that Auburn/Mississippi State game that ended 3-2 - nobody enjoys that.
But all things considered, give me Ga/Fla, circa 1975 any day. Gene Washington to Richard Appleby, 10-7. The girders are bending!
