Once again, we've cut the cable - not JUST to save on $$$$$$$, but because MOST of the time, nobody watches any TV around here. BullDawg2010 says it will probably be on youtube soon - I hope so. I'd like to see it. I've seen some highlights, but you can't possibly get a feel for the game from that. My wife picked a FINE TIME to go on a date night. But I needed to show her I care more about her than football - perspective, you know - so I didn't mind. A win is a win in my book.
Just checked the stats - WOW! I'm not sure how the 'Cocks kept it that close.
Did you notice that the guys and gals that make their living on football picked this game, while all the talking-head-idiots on tv got it completely wrong? We even covered the spread, thanks to nobody thinking UGA is any good at all and driving the spread down to only 3. Vegas made a KILLING on that game!
I haven't found it yet, but I'd LOVE to see a college football ranking from the bookies instead of the idiots at CBS/ESPN/Disney. That should tell you where we REALLY stand.
I like to tell you a little story about an old dawg & a bygone year, 1959. We had just beaten Bama in an early Sept. game, in fact the first year the "Bear" was back at Bana. Bill Godfrey, our fullback had scored a forty some yard touchdown, & after the game there was a lot of back slapping & handshaking going on. Bill who was known as "Taterbug" by his team mates walked up to Coach Butts & said, "Coach folks are really nice to you when you win." It seems that a bill or two were placed in Bill's hand by old grads during the handshaking & back slapping. I for one was very pleased with the win over the "chickens." We played well & coached well. This is a good staff, let's keep en together & let en get better & I think they will. Like old Bill said folks are sure nice when you win, so let's be nice & give the team & coaches a pat on the back for a job well done.
As always, GO DAWGS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

DawgDoc have seen some positive changes in the last two or three years. Recruiting seems to be moving forward in a positive mode for 2014, have a good chance at building solid depth.
