If you haven't read the article in the link below, interesting on several counts.

One take I have that is not mentioned in the article is AM playing against two stout opponents right away on the 2013 schedule.

Second thought is AM knows that he has to get off to a fast start against quality football teams. To me that says he has a pair. Same attitude he had in high school.

Anyone that has watched AM can not doubt his toughness, along with that the willingness to spend the time to improve every year. AM has and is setting a high mark for those that follow him. Good on you AM . . . . guess he had a pretty good teacher also. Have heard it said that young quarterbacks and backs coming out of UGA are a welcome site to NFL coaches and teams.

If murray does this in 2013 and I think he will to:

In 2012, Murray threw for nearly 3,900 yards and 36 touchdowns, and that was good enough to make him second-best in the country in quarterback efficiency. There’s a really good chance he will throw for over 4,000 yards and 40 touchdowns this season, which would open the eyes of every NFL scout.

I can not wait to see Gurshall how many yards and TD will they have will be great to watch I would like to see Gurley run for 1700 yards I think he will set his goals alot higher than that I hope they all set more school records this year!!!

How Bout them Dawgs!!!!!!!

It has been mentioned before that leadership is one thing that every team needs. Might say, have to have. Proof of that is in the link below. What our team did up until Shawn Williams finally had a belly full, and did not care whose toes he stepped on, then the record after he broke the "silence code".

Whether or not we agree with all of the media time that Ray Lewis has been getting, there is no doubting the fact that he is a leader, has been forever. Think we know the results of what his leadership meant to the Baltimore Ravens. While he is not the player he once was, he was still the leader and the team responded to his leadership.

For one, I think we will see that same type of leadership from Tray Matthews. I have watched and posted about his play on the field, and he also backs his athletic talents by taking care of the book work. If Tray stays healthy, we have a newcomer that is cut from the same cloth as Shawn Williams.

Pleases me, played the game, coached the game, understand leadership and the value to a group of interested young men. This defense (2013) will be worth the price of admission.

One other note, really liked what Greg McGarity had to say in the link. More and more I am understanding one of the main parts of our "looking forward".

Happy Valentine's Day to all . . . . :)

Remember the mention of folks reading this site and then using it elsewhere. Check dates and times and come to your own conclusions. When was the first time any site mentioned the "Pistol" and Faton Bauta and some other comments that look as if they were copies from this site.

Seems some want to annoint Ramsey as the "man", could very well be, and if he is that, will make me a happy camper also.

There was a time not too long ago it seemed that keeping ones word meant more than best man on the field. Again, nothing wrong with that except this . . . . don't make promises to players that cannot be kept, especially if recruited talent suffers while trying to keep ones word to maybe a lesser talent. Don't have to go into details, many that have been here for a while know of what I speak.

I have also been outspoken about seeing changes in leadership from our coaches recently, last couple of years, very noticeable. Mark Richt said again since the hip operation that it would come down to the way the players practice and perform. Certainly can live with that statement, and I also think that there were some lessons learned from not following that policy previously.

We are all the same here, we want to see our team excel and get tournament ready for the changes coming soon in the playoff system. Recruiting will be even more of a battle between the top schools in D1. Really want to see us in that group that the entire nation gets to watch. Playoffs are going to make college football really heat up.

If I didnt have a job to go to every day I would be tempted just to go over every day and watch football practice this spring and summer. It should be quite competitive at several different positions between some very talented newcomers and upper classmen. It could get really interesting.

The sun shines on a different Dawg every day
