Barring injuries, the offense is top 5 all day long. Bennett is going to light it up his last year, then get drafted.

Buc, imo, most of us were on Bobo's case and in looking back, believe a lot of his conservative/questionable play calling was because of no confidence in his OL, or a certain RB that couldn't even remember where to line up, etc etc etc.

Now with the talent/personel that is on the field, he shows what he can do when he has the confidence going in that the plays will be executed properly and therefore successfully.

Bobo 2, 3 years ago simply may have been so conservative because he didn't have much alternative.

Just thinking "outside the box" a little.

One thing that I meant to put in my last post WartDawg was the fact that Mike Bobo has a large enough set to admit he made mistakes. Soon we will be discussing Bobo's place in Athens or elsewhere.

One more thing that I really liked about Mike Bobo was the fact that he did not discourage AM from mixing with the Manning's at their camp. Some with huge egos would take that as a slap in the chops. Tells me that Bobo is now comfortable in his skin, maybe he always was. He has to be beside himself with the group he has returning, I am.

I think he was conservative just because that was his nature. Through all the OL's, RB's, and offensive changes, his play calling never really changed until last year. I think he waas just too conservative, realized it(or had it pointed out to him, whichever) and the offense blossomed as a result. My opinion from the outside looking in.

OR... he might have just matured a bit as a play caller with a bit more experience.


It might have been a bit of both...

Sadler and WD.....you both could be dead right.

All that really matters is that the play calling is better now.

Why it was the way it was is past history, and may it forever remain that way...
