Staying quiet this week. I see a lot of praise it seems for CMR and staff. I will tip my hat to this coaching staff. Somehow, as bad as it was against the cocks, this team responsed and kept it together. Things didn't go our way early the last 2 years, got knocked down, but answered the bell the rest of the season. Proved to me that CMR and staff will bow their necks up when their backs are against the wall. Don't know many coaches that could respond to the negativity that CMR and staff have.

Not going to say to much about the game, but these 2 teams are both very talented. Going to come down to who is going to step up and make plays. Hear a lot about the coaching. Both coaching staffs seem to truly believe that the other staffs are very good. Reason for that I believe.

I believe we can win this game. Not going to say it is a definite. Both teams are very good. Games like these can come down to 4 or 5 plays that could make a big difference on the scoreboard. Will say this, do not abandon the running game.

We have a chance to win it all this year. Doesn't come along that often. But, for some reason, I think we will continue to be in the hunt for quite a few years. This offense is very talented, played some good football, and they are very young. Going to lose quite a bit on defense, but the talent to replace those guys is there. Very impressed with the building I am seeing. Keep it up.

Only 4 teams averaged over 7 yards per play on offense this year to this point.

Baylor
Oklahoma State
FSU
Georgia

Interestingly of the top 25 teams on offense only UGA ran less than 800 offensive plays.

UGA has the skill players to score on anyone.

Absolutely agree KD. My only concern is the O-line. Going to have their hands full. They are building there though. I believe with the experience they are gaining, could be a very scary group in years to come. Looking at the O-Linemen on our roster, and incoming group if we can get Tunsil, no reason we shouldn't end up having bama like O-lines in the future. CWF is the man for the job.

Speaking of recruiting. Right now, we have 3 OL committed. UGA has went after just about every good O-linemen in the south. If they can get Tunsil to go with this group, and with the talent and size they already have on campus. Should be fun to watch. Also, we have 30 commits right now. 19-defensive players, 3 OL, and 8 skilled position players. You think CMR finally figured out what it takes to win in this league? I do.

kd.....AND the first 3 on the list play in no-defense conferences.

AD5.....wish that OL commit number was more like 7 instead of 3 though.

AllDawgs5, drawing from the last line of your post . . . . You think CMR finally figured out what it takes to win in this league? I do.

Agreement on Mark Richt and the learning curve. Takes some longer than others, guess it is not how fast one peddles, it is getting there that matters.

When I watch his press conferences, more and more he has made mention of the "coaching staff" and how pleased he is with this group. Coaching is no different than being on the field with the football. All comes down to team play, all on the same page.

Think with recent hirings like Will Friend, Todd Grantham and by no means leaving out the rest of the coaches, we all know who they are, the face of Georgia football has changed, for the better I might add.

Appears to me that we are in what I would call Phase Two of the change over. Phrase Three to me is getting more of the players like Laremy Tunsil on the offensive line, and Montravius Adams on the defensive line. Keep building both lines and we can play with anyone.

I truly believe that the defensive side might be in Phase Three, offensive line hits Phrase Three and it is Katie Bar The Door.

DeVondre Seymour apparently showed his wares against Robert Nkemdiche in their playoff game. Here is hoping that DeVondre finds his way to Athens, Georgia. Really need to do what Richt/Grantham said at the beginning of their relationship in Athens . . . . build that fence around the State of Georgia, can't keep all of the athletes, would love to be able to keep those that want to play for UGA and make it a bit harder for "outsiders" to pick and choose. All comes down to winning football games.

Know that I am "bouncing" around, been a long time since I have seen my football team in a position to make some "serious noise". :)
