Made a post at the beginning of the season that I was sorry that we did not get to play Alabama this year, wanted to see how we stack up. Really like the two teams playing for the SEC Championship. Got my wish.
With ya Buc, especially like playing them while we are peaking......that certainly will give us our best chance.
Old "mo" can be a powerful thing.
wlayton, chatter seems to be that we have seven or so sure bets to enter the NFL. When I look at some of the talent on our team, watch some of the play in the NFL on Sundays, have to agree that we have a lot of talent.
Hope this game in Atlanta does not come down to talent versus team play. I know that Saban/Smart will play team ball. That is what I hope to see when we meet up with Alabama.
Alabama has three really good running backs, Lacy is a bad man. If we don't wrap up, especially running the 3/4, someone on the board mentioned it . . . . Alabama will hog the ball. Alabama's offense runs against the 3/4 year long in practice, they understand what is facing them in Atlanta with UGA's 3/4. Same can be said about our team, we understand the 3/4. Another good reason to protect AM in Atlanta, he can do things against the 3/4 that others in the SEC don't have a true grip on.
Lots of theories about how to beat Alabama, personally think that it will come down (again) to playing position football. Lots of NFL scouts will be in attendance, look for strong performances by both teams. This is for the Championship of the SEC, strongest conference in the country, like it or not, SEC will play for the Crystal. I like that. I like UGA by 1 to 3 points.
