growl, made a promise to this board and myself before the 2012 Season started. It is there in the posts if anyone wants to check what I am about to say.
Said that I was going to drop my guard and go one more time with the program. Why? Easiest question ever.
I saw more talent, proven talent on this team than I had seen since the 1950's. Position for position.
I still say that we have that kind of talent, all of us at this point know why these young men are not approaching their talent levels. Nothing has changed. We have a truck load of talent, we however still have the same group of so called leaders that are so full of themselves that they cannot see the forest for the trees. They are either full of themselves or . . . they simply can't coach. Buffalo and the teams that we beat, I call that padding ones record. There has been a lot of that in the past 11 or so years.
There is not a doubt in my mind that this group of young men will play their butts off the rest of the year. Wish I could say the same for our coaching staff. For some reason they just do not seem to be able to get all of this talent on the same page.
Folks down my way are looking forward to JAX. Some of the talk now is not winning, but winning by how much. I hate losing to the gators as much as averagedawg/AD5/TN Dawg and others hate losing to Tennessee. If we are not successful in JAX, I truly believe that McGarity will step up, or Richt will resign. Richt is the head coach . . . . McGarity in effect is the leader. Not going to let McGarity skate on this, quite frankly hope he learned well under Jeremy Foley. Muschamp knew that he had to get the gators back in the public eye, could be he has done that. Another new comer as a head coach winning against Richt . . . . you folks tell me.
Wife and I are going to spend a few days in the Bahamas, had hoped to have some jerk chicken, guess I will have to find something else on the menu. Will peruse the board in the morning, not going to read or post again for a few days, have to try and gather myself, Spurrier put it to me again. Wonder if Mark Richt feels as bad as I do? JAX worries me more than I can say, not the players and their talents . . . . worried about coaching talent.
